I bought enough diatomaceous earth for three years. I put it under my house in the cracks of the walls in the cracks of the floors because my house was overrun with ants, I had bought a trailer with a shanty shack and it was left vacant for four years, inhabited by spiders, ants and termites. This product mechanically kills fleas. I have used it on my dogs for years and especially to control fleas, ants, and termites around the house. We live in a wooded area. A pest control man once told me that DE would really hurt his business if more people knew about it. He saw that we dusted the entire inside of the crawl space of our new home. We never had to repeat that process. The exterior gets done a couple of times a year or more if there is a lot of rain.

Although I just started taking Food Grade D.E. one month ago I still believe in its health benefits. However, it is too soon to tell just how much it is going to help me. I have blood work scheduled with my doctor in one month and I look forward to seeing my cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I have used industrial grade D.E. for several years to get rid of pesky insects such as ants and other crawly critters. I put it along the outside of our door thresholds to keep bugs out of the house. I know that they have to crawl through the D.E. to get into the house and once they even touch it they will die of dehydration within 30 minutes to an hour.

Very good experience, I just wish the boxes were not all banged up. Delivery was however quick.

I will recommend this product. We have 2 indoor cats. They do hang out on our screened in porch. The fleas appeared in one room of our house. I tried 3 other products b4 waiting the recommended wait periods between each one. They didn't work. So the research began. After reading reviews I chose this product due to need to get rid of the fleas...cost...and ease of use. I saw results within a couple of weeks. A month later...no more fleas. The downsides are 1. The website where the product is ordered did not have the applicator I needed. I had to go to another area of the site and pay seperate S&H to get the applicator. 2. After applying and waiting the recommended wait time..then the clean up. The dust from the product goes everywhere. I will rate the product a 10 out of 10 stars. The result achieved certainly outweighs the 2 concerns I mentioned. The product does what it is suppose to do. Just follow the easy directions.
