United Kingdom | 11 May 2021I rent a property from Ethical letting. They are always quick at responding and they will do their best in getting the job done as quick as possible and in a time frame that suits you. Ethical letting are polite, good mannered. On the day of work being done, I recieved call with update on time and with COVID national guidelines were always met. The contractors would wear a mask stay a safe distance. I was also delighted they respected my home and they would make sure they took shoes off and left my place clean the same way the entered.

United Kingdom | 31 March 2021We used ethical lettings to rent our main residence out whilst we went travelling for a year. The travelling didn't work out in the end due to the covid pandemic but we ended up renting our house out for a year. Ethical are a great option if you want a fully managed service without the normal associated costs. They are a non profit organisation which means they can keep the cost to the landlords to a minimum. You can also rest assured that even though ethical help tentants who traditionally struggle to get private lettings; either due to being on housing benefit, lack of references or financial stability proof. The way ethical manage and take direct responsibility for your properties condition means that you will always receive the property in the same condition as you rented it out (minus normal wear and tear). In fact I soon realised that ethical take so much responsibility, you are actually alot safer in their hands rather than a traditional estate agent in terms of property damage, rent guarantee and legal proceedings. This became most apparent during the pandemic when alot of landlords were losing rent and unable to evict tenants, ethical were able to work with landlords and tentants to ensure landlords were paid without discrimination against tentants. Their actions during this unprecedented time was very commendable and I don't think there is another agency which would have managed this monumentous feat. My only complaint regarding ethical is that they can be a little lacking in communication. This is probably because they fully manage properties so will omly bother the landlord in emergency or if something needs fixing. Some landlords will love this but at points we did want a little more active comms from ethical, especially during the transition of the property back to us. But I get that they are a very small team and have alot of properties so only a small gripe. Overall I absolutely would recommend ethical as a legitimate option for renting your property. For us they offered more guaranteed rent per month than a high street estate agency and our property was really well looked after.
