And as far as quality goes, I have studied diamonds and practically consider myself a diamond expert just from researching the web. But the quality of my purchase made ME surprised!! I did a ton of research before I went in to see Jim at Diamondsonweb - so I know the price I got was very fair. I probably saved 30% vs. going to a regular retailer (that is just my off-the-cuff estimate). That saving allowed me to get a bigger diamond. It is simply beautiful. I will definitely go back if I ever need more loose stones.

Have been shopoping for a 25th anniversary ring for almost 6 months now. Finally ran across Diamonds on the Web about 3 weeks ago. Cannot beat thier GIA prices. All diamonds came with the GIA ceritifaction which really eased my mind. Lots of other sites and brick and mortar stores that sell diamonds from a variety of grading agencies...but could find no other sotre that beat DOW's GIA prices. They were very helpful picking stones and cuts. Would highly recommend. As a result my wife got almost a 3 carat tw 3 stone ring that she absolutely loves.

Five years ago I purchased a diamond engagement ring from Diamonds On Web for my wife for our 25th wedding anniversary. I was very pleased with the quality of the diamond, the ring and the service so now 5 years later I returned to DOW to purchase my wife a diamond tennis bracelet for our 30th wedding anniversary. I really like that I can shop for diamonds with specific cut, color, clarity and carat from their wide selection. This gives me the freedom to select the diamond quality & size at a price point that meets my needs. I looked at the local big box stores and the prices were much lower but the quality was terrible (easily seen black inclusions). The selection at my local fine jewelry store was very limited and very expensive and even they could not give me specifics for the color or clarity rating of the diamonds. I should also mention that DOW is very easy to work with, 5 years ago I requested a special setting to match my wife’s wedding ring and for the recent tennis bracelet I requested a custom length. In both occasions they were very accommodating. Of course the big risk with buying on the internet sight unseen is “Will it meet my expectations?” When I opened the box for the tennis bracelet I was stunned; the sparkle, the quality were beyond my expectations. I’m very pleased with my 2 experiences with DOW.

Diamonds on web took the time to make sure we would be happy. I selected a diamond from the site. The owner called me to tell me that I would not be happy with the diamond I selected. He took the time to understand what the priorities were for the diamond I was interested. He sent me some choices that fit our discussion and gave me his direct phone number. I continued looking at the diamonds available on the site and found another and called him with my choice. He checked the diamond while I was on the phone and assured me that it would look nice. I also ordered the engagement setting and wedding band. All arrived exactly when and how he said they would and were absolutely stunning! I could not have been happier.

I was looking for a GIA certified diamond (VS1-S1/J-H) for my Fiancee & contacted Mary Ann, who advised me to look at a SI2/J that they had which was every clean & much cheaper than the others I had been looking at. On discussing with her comparing this to another, she responded "I would like either of the stones, however, the I-SI1 is more expensive. Do you feel like you want to spend the extra money for a diamond that is not visually different from the other? " I had it verified/inspected & assured that it was a very clean/pretty stone. Mary also send me pics to look at besides the GIA certificate. I ordered that along with a SI1/I from another store (Blue...) which was 2.5K more. On receiving & comparing both, I was surprised to see that the SI2 was more brilliant than the SI1 although both were GIA Certified (3XL) with same dimensions/Cut/depth/Table,No Fluorescence, proportions etc. I let my fiance also choose between the 2 & she picked the DOW one. On taking both to a Jeweler, he also had a hard time justifying the extra money for the SI1. I am really glad I chose DOW as they recommended a great stone, gave their honest opinion & saved me a bunch of money ;-) Thank you Mary Ann.

I have ordered several 1ct diamonds and have been completely satisfied as the stones were exactly what I was expecting and the customer service was above average in my opinion..

I love my engagement ring! Its shiny and eye-catching! I did quite a lot of research and came up with a few online jewelers. And speaking about spending thousands of dollars on a purchase and especially it's on an engagement ring shopping which you can't actually see the actual thing of course there would be many questions asked and wanted all of them to be answered. After going back and forth between different online stores I chose Diamondsonweb because of their slightly cheaper price considering our tight budget. Their customer service is not too bad, just I think it could be better. But after all, we love the ring =)

DOW was definetley the right choice. After doing a ton of research and shopping around, DOW had the best prices and selections. I was able to design my own ring to my liking. It turned out beautiful. I worked with Layla who was great. After my order had been placed she called me everyday to let me know the status of my ring until it was delivered. I was hesitant in the beginning to send that much money to company I had not personally met but I am glad I did. Thank you DOW!!

The owner personally inspects each diamond purchased. Not sure I would be happy with the original purchase he called to discuss it with me. He found me the perfect diamond at a super price. Great experience and I will definitely be a return customer and refer friends.

So first I had some issues with my credit card - MY issues entirely. I moved recently and, ordinarily, retailers will let a billing and shipping address be different. For such a large order, of course, DoW held up my order until I fixed the CC. Great for my security and great customer service - you call the phone and a real person immediately answers (really!!!!). The diamond came in a couple days - some stones are overnight if they have them in San Fran, but the stone I wanted was from overseas. Still, it was like 3 days. Excellent. The stone itself was gorgeous - exceeded my expectations even though I knew what all the numbers meant - and I went and had it appraised by a friend just for kicks and he appraised it $1100 above what I paid. He based his appraisal on looking at the stone, noting color and inclusions under a scope, looking up the GIA number laser'ed onto it and looking up the GIA ratings (which he mostly agreed with). I purposely didn't bring the DoW-supplied GIA paperwork in order to get a legit evaluation. I'm Belgian and I have some diamond knowledge distant in my family - I'm far far FAR from a diamond trader or expert, but the guy who eval'ed it for me is a jeweler and trader and family friend.

Excellent quality for the price! Can't beat it. Would recommend to anyone searching for diamonds- impeccable quality!

I am very picky when it comes to my rings... very detailed! a little bit of OCD. I already changed my ering and wedding band twice and was still not happy with them. I decided to check online and was looking for a solitaire ering with a matching channel wedding band. I got sooooo stressed out spending hours and hours looking for a particular design that i really liked... i had a hard time deciding which one to choose. So i decided to contact their customer service and started asking some questions... i was able to talk to Layla and Edan (mostly to Edan). He was very patient, helpful, and understanding when i was trying to explain to him what designs i would like my rings to look like; he even told me that if i could not find the ring I wanted on their website, that they could also make custom rings. I was very happy and very excited to tell him what style i desired and how thick i wanted the rings to be. I had to wait 2 weeks for the custom rings, but when my rings arrived, i was very happy. My husband was also happy watching me try on my new rings; he described my rings as "perfect". I am sooo thankful to Edan for all his help. The price cannot be beat too! My rings are my Christmas present and at the same time my 10th wedding anniversary present as well! The only thing i regret is that i wish i had ordered a 6mm or 8mm wide wedding band because i have long fingers and i thought that 4mm would be wide enough. Over all I am very happy with them and I would definitely recommend DOW to anyone.
