This may be a longer than average read but worth it for prospective buyers at TOP555. Firstly a few points. i) I don't do these reviews ii) I have purchased several performance cars from both main dealers and independents iii) This is my first purchase from TOP555 iv) I'm not a fan of car salesmen (but to be fair this is generally due to 'a not really bothered' attitude from main dealers or high end independents who consider £125k isn't much money (as you're not spending £250k on a Lambo) v) I find most car dealers and their staff don't know a great deal about the product they are selling - more frustrating because I do When I see a car I like I do my research and generally go to buy it. I don't need to drive a car of a certain age and mileage to decide to buy and I certainly do not need a salesman to persuade me but the difference is a poor dealership and salesman can make me walk away even if I had gone with the intention of buying a a particular car. I am no timewaster and I consider myself a salesman's dream. Before purchase of my 911 GTS (which was concluded within a week) I had looked at a Mclaren 720S (replacing my 570GT) yet my bad experience just made me walk away from the dealer, the brand and the problems (they are called 'Mclarisims') associated with the brand so it was probably fate events happened as they did in me going back to the solidity and quality of Porsche. Fast forward from my bad experience (only two weeks prior), deciding on the Porsche 911 GTS Cabriolet I saw two virtually identical cars but located at different ends of the country. One a main dealer and slightly cheaper although a little further away from my home. As TOP555 was that bit closer I decided on a quick trip there and met a very nice man called Dan Baines (who I instantly liked - which is unusual for me), someone who I could easily go for a beer with. He recognised my attitude straight away, left me in peace, gave me a very knowledgeable summary of the car then left me to it and said if I need a coffee or any information he would be in his office. 5 minutes later I bought the car and we had a chat about everything but the car itself, generally cars, life, holidays, etc, then I went on my way after leaving a deposit. A week later (and after many text communications) I collected, Dan was very fussy, we had a fabulous handover with lots of goodies and champagne gifted to us before we went on our way. The next day (Dan's day off) he rang me to see how the car was and the journey home. What can I say, the reviews are all true - its just a nice place to buy a special car with people who actually know a thing or two about cars. I will certainly be going back, if only just see to Dan for a coffee if I'm close by and obviously when I'm again back in the market to buy a car.

As a car collector and all round 'petrol head' it is super important to be comfortable whom you buy from. Transparency in the car trade has always been a topic. There are many new and wonderful car showrooms that have opened and are instagram heavy. I love seeing the market grow and the competition. However, I am also a big fan of speaking to people and discussing a purchase. Top 555, are available at all times and Charles is always keen to speak to his customers (old and new). They are transparent, responsive and reassuring at all times. It is a professional process from start to finish. They also add in some nice touches - sorting the private plates and ensuring delivery is seamless. I have been a customer for a while now and to be honest, whilst there are many great places to buy supercars from, you cannot put a figure on someone "who's been there and done it." Top555 are 'EST'ablished and only buy quality supercars with full background checks, quality control and history. From start to finish Micheal and the Top 555 experience has restored my faith in performance car dealers and the benefits of buying from a top class independent rather than main dealer . You are treated with mutual respect and are made to feel welcome throughout the process. They are extremely knowledgeable regards the vehicles and Brands they sell and go above and beyond to explain in detail the cars specs pros & cons etc and make you feel at ease whilst they part with their extensive car knowledge over a wide array of premium brands . You can tell whilst looking round the showroom that they only buy grade a 5star quality cars many of which have a little individuality. Its easier to sell when you buy right and they certainly do that . You could confidently purchase any car in their current showroom and be confident that it is a prime example of the brand and model . The service and experience far excelled the treatment I have received from my main Porsche Dealer in the Preston area and the organisation on handover is both special & seamless but more than that they are genuine car enthusiast who seem to again genuinely enjoy providing cars to true car enthusiasts and are happy to spend the time of day with them . It definitely doesn't seem to come down to making a profit and thats the end of it . Nothing is to much trouble and Micheal is a credit to both Top555 and the car retail industry and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone . So I think I bought the cheapest car in the showroom and yet I was made to feel like their most important customer. Outstanding pre and post-sales service, I just can’t fault these guys. I was personally dealing with Dan and it’s been the best car buying experience I’ve had, and I’ve probably owned over 20 cars. From the test drive to collecting the car, my name on a plaque next to the car, unveiling of the sheets, bubbly and a card inside, to a call after I had got it home to make sure all was ok, and a bit of help with trackers etc. All just perfect.

Dealt with Dan and Michael at Top555. I don’t think the ‘buying a car’ experience could be done any better than this. Lovely people, no pressure, always helpful and great service. Would definitely use in the future.
