Uganda | 16 October 2023Our recent 15-day expedition through Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania was nothing short of a family adventure of a lifetime, thanks to the incredible team at Sail Adventure Safaris. Our group, consisting of my family of six and our dear family friend, set off on an unforgettable journey that surpassed all expectations. Day 1: A Warm Welcome in Entebbe, Uganda Our adventure commenced in Entebbe, Uganda, where we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. Sail Adventure Safaris ensured that our arrival was smooth, setting the tone for a memorable trip. Uganda's Natural Wonders Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda certainly lived up to its name. Our encounters with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park were nothing short of magical. We were left in awe by the lush landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park. Exploring the Maasai Mara in Kenya Our journey into Kenya brought us to the breathtaking Maasai Mara. We were fortunate to stay at the luxurious Singita Mara River Tented Camp, where we witnessed the spectacular Great Migration, a natural phenomenon where thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossed the Mara River. The adventure continued with thrilling game drives and enlightening interactions with the Maasai community. Tanzanian Adventures Our exploration of Tanzania took us to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The endless plains of the Serengeti were a wildlife lover's paradise, offering close encounters with lions, leopards, and elephants. Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provided a unique opportunity to witness an incredible concentration of wildlife.
