Just had some time with instructor Joe. First impressions are great, he’s an excellent communicator, patient and extremely knowledgeable I’m excited to learn more. 5/5

ACBT all the way! Did my CBT with them back in October and came back to do my full licence and successfully passed my MOD 1 yesterday morning on the first attempt :) Can’t praise the team enough. Not only you are taught the practical skills needed to pass and be safe, a simple tip on how to be calm and relax whilst going for an exam was everything I needed to ace it. Looking forward to my MOD 2 training & test and finally step in to the bigger bike world. 10/10 experience and service, can’t recommend them enough

I passed my MOD 2 CAT A today and many thanks to Joe as he explained all things to do very clearly. He sees your faults and gets over on it to correct them, as what instructors should do. Simply recommending ACBT London. Sweets

Today I passed my motorcycle test, Mod A , my instructor explains things very well and he is very friendly but he also gives you confidence about doing the exam. I definitely recommend this school. ACBT London

ACBT, what an excellent school. Professional in every sense of the word, starting from initial communication to the day of the practical test. Twice I had attempted the MOD 2 at another school and the teaching style led me to decide to choose another school. The best decision I could have made. The family sized team at ACBT were friendly from the start. Lisa and Joe made me feel welcome with prompt and polite messages. Jose is a super chill instructor, clear instructions and a calm demeanour. 100%, I highly recommend.

Great experience! A family run business consisting of kind, funny and energetic people. Both Lucy and Jose Mourino were very welcoming and helpful. I learned a lot, had fun doing it, and emerged with a valuable new set of skills that I can apply on the road. the instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, and that he provided clear and practical guidance on how to apply techniques in real scenarios. This is a testament to the expertise and dedication of the course creators, who clearly put a lot of thought and effort into designing a course that would be both informative and engaging. Despite the horrible weather when I took the course (2 hours riding under heavy rain is not fun!) I enjoyed it since I booked, Lisa is great and very helpful till I finished with Jo, very clear and professional. I really recommend them. It was my forth CBT I took and definitely the best one!

Joe, Lisa and Betty the bike are absolutely amazing! I took the plunge and booked myself some riding lessons and a CBT course having never sat on a bike or even touched one before. Some natural motocross rider I am not but both Joe and Lisa are great, Joe took his time explaining and showing what I need to know and made me feel comfortable and confident from day one, personalising my training to ensure that I’m safe once I hit the roads. Lisa, the office goddess is so good with making time for me and fitting lessons around my schedule as much as possible. And, of course, I have to give a special shout-out to Betty the bike - thank you for being patient with all the rough handling while I find my footing!

As I come from Eastlondon and booked a CBT test today with ACBT London ( the earliest booking that was available than other schools in my area). ACBT are based just off the A2 past Blackwell tunnel. There was so many suitable off-road parkings. Also the training ground is situated like 2 mins walk. I got there at 7.45 am and was welcomed by Lisa. I was able to bring half my equipment and the remaining appropriate equipment was provided to me which was great. I found it to be a great day learning the basics of riding a scooter on the training ground, beginning with the theory of how to ride a bike on the road, highway code, etc. Took a few breaks here and then. I had never owned a bike, but many years back I had ridden other people's bikes and rode mopeds abroad. I've met the other riders in the small group of three also doing their CBT they were really good. Made an intro and had a bit of a chat. I felt that I had no confidence about riding until the instructor Jose saw that I am able to ride pretty well actually I underestimated myself. At first getting back on a 50cc scooter but as the day went on under the excellent and knowledgeable teaching of the instructor, Jose, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and in the end and passed my CBT plus not just passing but gain further knowledge of the biking world, high way code etc. I certainly 100% recommend ACBT not just the money worth but for anyone thinking of taking a CBT even as fresh beginner you'll gain extra knowledge and lifetime experience. As discussed as I intend to undertake DAS Training with the well knowledge Jose of ACBT I will go back there in a few weeks to get my full A motorbike license . Many thanks to Jose, Lisa and the team.The garden is pretty and the friendly workshop, great people and met the other riders humbled, office feels like home looking forward to the next training for the full licence category . I have trained at multiple motorbike schools and ACBT are by far the best. Firstly, I wanted to pass MOD 1 (DAS) in a fairly short time frame but couldn’t commit to taking too many days off from work. Lisa and Joe (instructor) went over and above to accommodate me on weekends and for shorter sessions during the week. Unlike lots of bike schools in London, I could book half day slots or sessions for a couple of hours. This meant I could easily do as many sessions as I wanted before taking my test. Secondly, the bikes that they provide are easy to ride and kept in excellent condition (unlike other schools that I have trained at). Thirdly, Joe is an excellent trainer. He is very personable, easy going but most importantly, he cared about my safety, he took as much time as I needed to explain the theoretical and practical skills surrounding motorbiking and he trained me not just to pass my tests but also how to ride competently and safely on the road. I passed the MOD 1 test a week ago. I felt confident and thanks to the training I understood how to pass each part of the test. I passed my full A1 licence back in 2020 but I am now a much better rider after learning from Joe. I can’t thank Joe and Lisa enough and would recommend anyone who wants to learn to ride to consider ACBT. You won’t find a riding school with nicer instructors, who are extremely competent as well as passionate about riding motorbikes!

ACBT is a very unique driving school, in London but probably in the UK. Why I am saying this? Because my profile is quite atypical as well, as a 55 yo woman who has been on a 125 for a while but never managed to successfully go for the full licence until I found Joe and Lisa. This is bespoke training at its finest, both at technical and mental levels. Oh and he also customised a bike for me (I am vacuité short). Today I passed my Mod 1 and I know that Mod 2 is just a matter of fine tuning. I find ACBT actually better than some of the « big players » out there - I did try several and again, as a woman, never quite found the right instructor until I met Joe. And Lisa at the office who’s simply wonderful.

After reading the various positive reviews on here, I decided to go ahead and book my CBT course with ACBT London. It was really the best decision I made. José immediately puts you at ease, he is very patient and knowledgeable. He is very clear in explaining the highway code and when we were on the road by motorbike. He immediately identified my shortcomings and worked on them until I was more confident in riding. In the future I will also book with them for my A license. Highly recommend
