Last year I bought 4 large bulk bags of Golden gravel 20mm from Landscape World Widnes… the colour and quality was outstanding whether dry or wet, beautiful rich golden colours and shades. Prompt delivery. This year I bought 2 large bulk bags to complete the back garden border. It was complete disappointment. I understand that this a natural product that varies in patches. But this one had no colour whatsoever. Just dull grey like concrete-aggregate. Delivery was prompt, and the guy who delivered it may have noticed the disappointment on my face, he said it will look better once washed by the rain. It did not after a few days of rain, then I washed it with power jet twice. Remains horrible dull grey colour, no shades whatsoever of yellow/gold. I have pictures, but the review site does not give the facility. I ended up, putting it as a bottom layer unearthing the previous job, then covered by a layer of the previous proper Golden gravel. Too much hard work. Revision: Since the review I appreciate that the customer services contacted me to apologise, since I added a star. The shop and staff are great and I use the shop and recommend it to friends. But the product this time did not meet expectation.

Good price and good materials, realised that I had ordered too much aggregate. Contacted them the next day and changed the order, very helpful staff took new order and refunded the difference. Delivery was the next working day again really helpful delivery guy. I would certainly use again and definitely recommend.

Excellent buying experience. Simple To order online and the following day they called me up to check delivery for the same afternoon. Within 30 minutes lorry arrived and hoisted ton of loose stones onto my drive which I requested. Faultless experience and stones are delivery all excellent.
