United States | 05 April 2024Migrated to ASPNIX after my host of 15 years closed it's doors. Found them by looking at SmarterTools website for available SmarterMail providers. I have 22 websites, all running on classic ASP and access databases, older tech, but still works. Had no issues moving over my sites and their files, everything worked out of the box. There was a bit of a learning curve to their control panel, there are a lot of options and what not that I am not familiar with as my old host's system was very "simple". I have come to love all the options as many of these visual components are things I used to have to hunt down how to set in my web.config file. Mail migration was also fairly smooth, the migration took a while as my old host was fairly slow, updated my email clients and everything just worked. My sites load blistering fast now, uploading all my files was also much faster than my previous host. Support has been great the few times I have contacted with questions about how something works or where to find x option, responses were fast and very knowledgeable. Overall, 9/10!

Singapore | 27 March 2023Quite a problematic service in many ways. It would be OK, but the support is just leaders of horror, after creating a ticket you can not even hope that your problem can somehow be solved. I don't recommend it.

United States | 03 December 2021I have been with ASPnix for over 12 years. It used to be good web hosting for fair price. They now have too many users, especially on SQL server. There are thousands of databases on SQL Server and my site is so slow it becomes useless. It takes 20 seconds for the web application to receive a response back from the SQL Server. No one is going to visit my website and wait 20 seconds for each page to load. Tested the same site on Azure free account and loads in 2 seconds. Web server is also over tasked with too many sites for the resources on server. This will be my last year with ASPnix. The prices have gone up over 30% about 5 years ago so now I can get a VPN or cloud service with adequate resources for just a few dollars more per month.

United Kingdom | 23 June 2021My order was flagged as fraud for whatever reason, I get it, they want to play the safe side. But after I created a ticket they just said they can't help and banned me from my service altogether. Not a good experience.

Having used aspnix for 15+ years along with many other providers (e.g. 1and1, godaddy, rackspace, etc) I have come to view aspnix as a company who provide great features at a great price however the customer is expected to have (or research) the technical understanding regarding how to use the features on offer. The aspnix support teams priority appears to be on managing the numerous technologies and ensuring systems remain operational, which they have done and continue to deliver to a high standard. Beyond using their web services I have used their email systems for a number of years which have never let me down.

South Africa | 26 February 2021I signed up a few years ago to ASPNix, based on all the bang for your buck it bragged about. Boy, did I get banged in another way by very slow, unprofessional, rude staff offering useless support, but their system and products are barely-functional seemingly hacked together stuff running on mercy alone. The whole experience was terrible for both myself and my clients, which weren't very impressed with my decision of host for my reseller account. Steer well clear of these clowns.

Germany | 02 May 2017I bought two whmcs modules from them. They work good, but their support is terrible. I believe his name was Christopher. Such an unfriendly Guy. I am new to whmcs, so I had a few problems. I contacted the support to get help. Other companies respond like "Thanks for buying our module, ...". Christopher was very unfriendly. He helped me but he always talked to me with a meaning of "Oh, you are so stupid" "Oh my God how stupid can someone be". Can't recommend this company.

I am not an IT guy so this is important to me. Their support works 24/7/365. My sites are always online and I am happy that my visitors are satisfied with the speed connectivity. Top web host to deal with. highly recommended.

United States | 30 August 2016You can never use online chat except with sales department, when server/your site is down they don't respond to your ticket and after it comes back live you get a reply service is up and there was no problem. And a lot of more bad experiences with them. After 4 years Im moving to new provider.The prices might be cheap but so is the company service

United States | 25 October 2015ASPnix has good prices, average packages, and good support. They do not have the ability to help you customize packages aside from basic add-on's. They will not bend or go out of their way to help you in innovative needs. The support most often answers tickets with yes or no answers if you don't keep pressing for more information. For me, they only meet my needs as a stop gap service. It's too bad that I will have to invest in VPS but they will probably not be here because they aren't competitive enough in that genre.

Sales was on with me for over two hours helping me with questions. Then after I sign up, support was just as great!! I can't say enough about them because they're the real deal no fuss just getting the job done. And absolutely the best personality you could ever ask for. Christoper York is a force to be reckon with... keep up the great job Christoper! You've earned a long time customer. I won't be leaving any time soon... sorry... I'm here now. :)

Australia | 10 March 2014I have been with ASPNIX for around 5 years. But i ended up cancelling my account. It was good customer relationship at the beginning but after 2010-2011 it has changed. They are usually mean and when you ask for something you feel guilty to get help! These guys are really losing it now, i see some of my friends posting on facebook about their frustration at aspnix and how bad their services So it is not only me that having issues. Here is a little story from last year, i wanted cancel my account that is never in use for a long while. Why pay for an account you never use? I also had a free one month service from them to make up for a long long downtime in the year before( my websites were down for a week, yes you heard right, for a one bloody week. They offered me one month free hosting to make up for it) Like couple weeks before my hosting service finishes, i realised they ve charged me for 'Hosting renewal". I contacted them and asked why they have charged me before the service end day and ask for a return as i am not using it anymore. But they didint cancel and return my money and said i missed the due date even though my service end date was different. So i had to pay whole year's money for nothing... There are couple of stories like this only from myself. i can imagine what other people dealing with... Also, there is a person called Chris York, the worst customer support i have ever seen in my life... I am so disappointed and will never advise any of my industry friends to work with these guys. If you want to have at least average customer service and support, don't work with these guys. If you have a lot of money and don't really care about the websites/files you are going to use through their servers then aspnix is okay for you.
