Unfortunately I received the wrong colour item, I contacted them through WhatsApp as this seems to be the only way to contact them. I was asked for a picture and it was agreed the wrong colour was sent in error. I was advised to return the item and once received I would get the one I paid for. I was advised I would get a returns label and to take it to a Hermes shop to return it, 3 days later I received a returns label by email late on a Sunday night and advised it would be collected on Monday morning. This was a real issue for me as I didn't have a printer and I'd had the violin sent to another address as I wasn't in to collect the delivery. So now the item is at my home not the delivered address and I had no way to print the label and no reply to my WhatsApp until the next morning. I had to get a family member to print off the return label and go to the address I'd had it delivered to 1st thing Monday morning and to top it off was advised collection would be from 7am-8pm which for a 2nd time I'm asking said person to wait in all day which was so inconvenient. I then asked for the new item to be delivered to my address on the Friday as I'd managed to work from home and guess what they forgot to send the item on Thursday so no item turned up I then had to request another day to work from home so I was in to collect on the Monday. All in all I was very disappointed with my experience and the inconvenience but happy with the correct product I'd payed for after 2 weeks of waiting from purchase.

Very quick delivery very well packaged I am really looking forward to construction of this guitar all parts are present the neck fits like a glove only issue I had was with the frets were very sharp at the ends and uneaven but I was also expecting to have to level them so not realy a problem over all very pleased with my purchase and if all goes well will by another maybe flamed maple vaneer instead and pr shaped or lp shaped

I bought the PR840 kit. Have to say I was blown away with the quality and service. The mahogany 2 piece body and flamed maple veneer was sanded well and not sealed which makes painting or staining a lot easier. There were two small areas of the where glue seeped out but nothing that couldn't be overcome with a little sanding. The veneer is thin but I've seen named guitars at 4/5 times the price with equally thin veneers. Just have to not go mad when sanding down. The binding was well done. No loose edges. The mahogany neck was excellent with ebony fretboard that looks and feels great. On my kit I only had 1 fret that needed taking down a little so very impressed with that. Have bought kits from other vendors that needed a lot of work in this area. The headstock sanded well and has stained and lacquered up lovely to highlight the mahogany. I replaced the pick ups with Wilkinson Vintage zebra humbuckers as they completed the look I wanted so I can't comment on how the black ones that came with the kit sound though I'm sure I will use them in the future. The tuners are actually pretty good and seem to hold tune really well. A little stiffness in a couple but overall very good for standard tuners. I do like the washers that are with the tuners and really pop against the black stain I've used on the headstock. If I have one criticism on the kit, it would be the bridge/trem system. Although very functional and looks good, set up was easy enough to get it to float. It's of standard quality and worthy of future upgrade. That said, at the price point of the kit it's a very small criticism. Marks service is second to none. Very quick delivery. Well packaged. I had one query before I started the build so emailed the support email address at about 8pm not expecting a reply till the next day at the very least. Mark responded within the hour. If you want a project. And a quality instrument at fraction of the price you'd pay for a guitar already set up then definitely buy one of these kits. Having built a LP style kit which was great, and a Tele style kit which was pretty shocking from other vendors. The kits from UK Music Supplies surpasses both by miles. Highly recommended.

No problem with the company. Quick delivery. As for the product (Coban es 335 lookalike) Just average. Looked good out the box but on closer inspection....... The neck as expected needed some work on the fret ends. Not sure what the finger board is made of but looked very dull. some buffing with very fine steel wool and some oil rubbed in looked much better. Body had a couple of minor dings but all else OK just a matter of tidying up the F holes. When dry fitting the neck to body I would have expected to push the neck fully in (horizontally) but if you do so it would foul the neck pickup surround so a bit of measuring between nut and twelfth fret and twelfth fret to bridge to get it right. When putting dummy strings on they are not parallel to fingerboard so need to wedge the neck over to get them right. Will have to do some filling on one side of neck pocket. Finally the wiring diagram is of no use. The controls are pre-wired except for the pickups Earth wires are obvious but where to solder the live wires? It says to google for wiring diagrams but how ever many I found they were not wired the same way as this wiring. After several dry attempts I discovered which lug they should be soldered to (the centre lug on each volume pot) At time of writing I have only prepared the neck and body. Still have to glue in the neck and coat. Not looking forward to installing the electrics (only access is through the F holes) Having said this I am really enjoying the project but should say, if you have little experience on working with wood and are not sure how to set up a guitar you may well find this difficult. I have built a telecaster from parts and made numerous Cigar box guitars and set up guitars before so have learned a lot over the years. A solid body guitar may be the best starting point for a beginner.

Excellent product, far higher quality than expected! I wanted a project to get me through lockdown, and this guitar didn't disappoint! The guitars are unfinished so require a lot of finishing off (I've spent about 20hrs so far sanding it down to my required finish so far and not even got to the stage of staining and finishing and then gluing on the neck ) but that's what I expected! The more work you put into it the better a guitar you will get ! My only criticism is that the build instructions are a little sparse and could do with a few more tricks and tips, even if they are links to other websites etc but a few Google searches should do the trick, however I'm dreading doing the electrics ! Like I say the quality is really good and no sign of any filler! Will post some pics once the project is finished! The customer service is excellent, the guitar arrived without instructions but one email and the instructions arrived! If you want a project and are prepared to put in the work, I would thoroughly recommend!

I bought a Coban guitar kit from UKMS which arrived super promptly. Both prior to and after the purchase I had a few queries which were answered by Mark more or less straight away, including sending me the wiring instructions which were omitted from the package. Full marks for customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Incidentally, I am very pleased with the kit and it's well on the way to completion.
