I wanted to explore the copywriting arena without going full in, so I applied to Digital Nomad's program. It was good - great people, fun assignments, and engaging training materials. My only suggestion for Digital Nomad is to offer a greater variety of assignments - social media posts, etc. That would help students build their resumes in another way. Overall, highly recommended!

Where should I start? I guess with the end result. My time at DNWC helped me build a solid writing portfolio (with plenty of by-lines) that helped me land a full-time staff writer position in a matter of two months after graduating! I would recommend this community to anyone, even if you're not looking to become a digital nomad. The head editor and CEO are so friendly and truly care about your journey to success and elevation in writing. You get a comprehensive education on all things writing, editing, and research. If you're a novice writer, you will surely not leave this program unchanged. Although I wasn't looking to become a digital nomad, I would say they could add more about the business behind freelancing into their program. But other than that, this club is solid!

Signing up for this programme was the best decision I've made in years! I had no previous experience and therefore no clue how to start a career in content writing & copywriting. The DNWC gave me so much real-world practice, personalised feedback, portfolio pieces, and confidence that I landed my first paid writing gig before I even graduated! Great community, friendly atmosphere, professional approach and firsthand digital nomad tips ;) Lucky for me, they were hiring at the time of my graduation, so I ended up working for them - and realised my dream of starting a career in content marketing while having the freedom to work from anywhere I want. This really is a one-of-a-kind programme that guides students through every step of building their dream digital nomad writing career. Could not recommend more!

So grateful for this opportunity! After struggling for some time to find a new path in my writing career, I decided to take my chances and go the freelance way by joining the DNWC. What an amazing experience it was! I am a fiction writer, and I needed to find a job. What I hated the most was the idea of giving up on my passion for writing and spending my time doing other type of work, until I found out on IG that a writing school was offering a program of remote learning to nomad writers. It was unique in its kind, so I jumped in and asked them about it. Everyone was so receptive and helpful, and I thought it was worth the investment and time. I loved how they instructed and guided us throughout the process of researching, writing, editing, and blogging, which sharpened my skills and opened the doors to a new marketplace for me. They helped me find my niche and audience, something I was also struggling with. While I learned and improved in all that, I was already building my portfolio by writing to real clients. Where else could I find such program? And no matter what doubts I had, Kaila, Julie-Anne, Iolee, and everyone else were always up, answering my questions. Connecting with more nomad writers was also a big plus, and the community is super friendly, supportive, and professional. The only thing that was a bit frustrating to me was the lack of time to learn more about other tools and resources that every content and copywriter wishes to know sooner than later. Other than that, everything was perfect. It was an experience I'll be forever thankful for! Sara H. J.
