The company I went through used this company for a solar Loan. They start the loan before the solar is even turned on. They consider the project complete when the solar is installed but not turned on yet. That is like saying we have manufactured a car sent it to your house and delivered it but we are not giving you a key to drive it and it has to sit there a few weeks and pay interest on it until a month of inspection are completed. Then oh you have pay us but you still can't use it. So not only is the loan payment and Interest start but you still have an electric bill. This company should be shut down.

WARNING: Stay far away from this finance company! Would have been zero stars if possible. Should you not follow this advice, read and understand every single word of any document/contract presented to you for a signature. I understand financing institutions need to make their profits from their loans but charging more than 8% APR on an apparent "8-year loan" will drastically lengthen it with a revolving door of interest and set you up for a lengthy, financial nightmare. This company and the business they run are surrounded by unethical processes. It's no surprise they are part of a big lawsuit currently for solar panel loans. Nearly 80% of the monthly payments will go towards a never-ending relinquished interest amount that will grow within 24 hours of processing your monthly payment for a continuous loophole, and then each and every day thereafter. By the time you're ready to pay the next month, be ready for your principal balance to barely see maybe 20% of your payment. Furthermore, should you decide to process extra payments with intentions of chipping away at your principal balance, in fine writing within their contract, "the company has the option to use your payments to pay for any fees and/or interests before applying any balance to the principal." Without hesitation, your extra payment will be accepted with no clarification of the breakdown and your left wondering why did my principal amount not go down (i.e. Should you have intentions of making a $200 payment to lower principal balance, depending on how many days since your last payment, funds will be taken from that amount to pay off any/all interest accumulated first.) If you're already in a contract, best just to throw all the money intended to pay off the principal amount during your monthly payment instead of two payments of month, to save you from the theft of interest with this company. This occurred through experience with paying off the incentive to stop the monthly payment amount from going up. Do yourself a favor, do not jump into this shark tank of a contract. If you're already stuck in the "quicksand," get out as soon as you can. Shop elsewhere, read the fine details (no matter how pushy your solar installer can be) before any signature or save the best you can to refrain from ever needing to finance, especially through Dividend.

WORST COMPANY EVER NOVEMBER 2024 This company is so bad, there is no room for improvement. It needs to be shut down. It would not give me reason for refusing to transfer the LOAN to me, the new deed owner. Third party authorization form was sent three times via email but it cannot be found in the office. Paid off loan but cannot send me statement that such funds were received. I could go on and on with disgust so in summary, IF YOU WANT STRESS, HEADACHE, AND TIME TO WASTE, deal with DIVIDEND.

I had a very frustrating experience with this lender, especially in relation to their handling of my solar panel loan. I had solar panels installed on my home and I was shocked to find out with less than 24 hrs to close of escrow that they do not allow loans to be transferred to new owners that are not going to occupy the home. This information was not provided to me prior to securing the loan and the answer I received from Dividend was that they don't divulge that information unless the question is asked. How would anyone know to ask if an investor could assume a solar panel loan? And they waited until the day before close to tell us this unknown rule of their company. They have now caused the closing to be postponed as I am now having to pay the loan off in order to sell my home. I expected a smooth transition, especially considering that solar panel loans are increasingly common in real estate transactions. However, instead of a seamless process, I was faced with unnecessary hurdles and confusion. The company’s refusal to allow loan transfers to the new homeowner is a major flaw and demonstrates a lack of consideration for buyers who are trying to maintain eco-friendly choices while also adhering to their financial obligations. It made a potentially great investment feel like a burden. If you're thinking about purchasing solar panels or buying or selling a home with solar panels financed by Dividend Finance, be warned that this lender will complicate the process. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth and efficient transaction.

Please note the only positive results are at the beginning of the relationship. This company allows illegitimate people to quickly install your solar panels to lock you in your contract so you can't get out. It's been 2 years I've paid for these STUPID panels and still can't use them!!!!!!!! Maybe by year 5 they'll actually be working!!!!!!!!

Scam company, partnering with bogus solar companies selling bad loans on mediocre solar system with little to no customer support. Shame on this fraudulent institution. If I could give them a zero, I would!

They should be forced to reduce the interest to zero on any of the loans they are involved in with pink energy. They knew they had issues but they still got involved. They also hid charges in the fees ..

I thought I'd go solar so when a company called Home/Power came by with their sales pitch it sounded good. I'd be paying the solar people instead of my power bill. They said I'd make enough energy to off set the cost of my power bill with AEP. After the deal was signed they took their good ol time to install. 2.5 years later the dam thing was still not working. They changed their name to PINK ENERGY at some point. Then Pink Energy went backrupt. Still no working solar system. After almost 3 years I told them to come and get the system I'm not paying for it. Dividend sent someone there to look at the system for about the 4th time. Instead of removing the system they got it up and working , only to break down before they left my house. Am hour or so later they said it was up and working for now. I wanted them to uninstall the unit and take it with them but now they want me to pay up. What a ripoff. We need to start a Class Action suit !

Dividend loan company is the worst one why I said that because when they came to your house with Momentum that work with them they came to your house they told you one thing and they did something else I have my Solar System who was not working for two months, nobody showed up and when you called them, they don’t wanna speak to you. They just promise you to try to solve the problem while my solar system isn’t working . I think that’s very poor services I will never recommend no one to them never ever the worst in business .

The biggest scam company. PLEASE DO NOT FINANCE ANYTHING WITH THEM. I’ve paid over $5,000 on my loan and not one cent has gone to the principal. I still have the exact same balance I did when I applied because of the interest account balance. What a POS company.

I will give this company 0 starts but I can’t .. this company killed my house deal. My buyer got approved for a conventional loan and bc of their policies he was not approved to transfer my loan to my buyer, once not approved, I lower my house 20,000 agree to pay the solar cost to avoid a repeat and after they told me they will settle I asked them to settle to help with my loss which is over 30,000 and the representative told we don’t settle .. if you want to know more about my horrible and unimaginable experience call me 1-203-260-0940.. ask for EC .. Financing was easy, staff is always friendly. Payments don't put much towards principal unless you pay more. The biggest issue though, paying off the account early. Paid the balance shown, magically there's still more to pay that wasn't included in the balance due. Guess that's what we get for attempting to pay the account off early. Guess we'll magically owe again next month too.

If you want to develop ulcers from stress, pull out all of your hair, and cry for hours in the shower, then this is the company you should use to finance your home projects! Dividend is the most annoying and incompetent finance company.. avoid if at all possible. Good luck trying to get answers outside of their scripted dialogue. The only unscripted dialogue I’ve ever heard is just a couple workers expressing their bad attitudes and coming across extremely unprofessional, and they will hang up on you if they feel they’ve answered your question. Even if you have additional questions.. Also, their payment portal is not very mobile friendly, it’s poorly designed and difficult to use, outdated, cannot store payment info or use any other form of payment. So everytime you want to make a payment, you’re having to enter routing number and account number all over again.

Worse financial institute in the country, they are a scam and should be behind bars. I have made on time payments for over a year and my loan balance has increased by $3,000. I have paid over 7k and not one cent has gone towards the principal. Dividend and SunVena should be locked up for scamming innocent people.

Worse company to finance with, unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I have business with them , I paid my loan cash for more than 3 weeks now and till now they refuse to send me official letter about that and they know this can affect my house selling process and delay the closing time . I called multiple time and send them email and no one can take actions, no one can just give me official letter that I paid them the loan (very disabled company) And to make it worse the put UCC lien on my house after I paid off my loan with them(so weird ) and they said they will not be able to terminate this UCC lien now and they need to wait 30 days for that. Please be careful and find another respectful company that can take care of you and your business,
