Tried two of the 4 in the sample pack so far. Both sets of beans are burnt to the point the coffee tastes horrible one was undrinkable. Particularly disappointing when you get a single origin where you can taste flavour notes but it's just over powered by an acrid burnt taste. Not holding high hopes for the other two. Updating after trying the other 2 and adding additional information as requested. Two of the sets of beans were burnt beyond repair, completely undrinkable, the other two were burnt to the point of ruining the flavour, as noted above you could taste some of the notes but then got an overpowering acrid burnt taste which is a shame as it demonstrates they were quality coffee beans which were simply burnt during the roasting process ruining them. Additional info requested: grind type is espresso, using a burr-style grinder which gets cleaned between each set of beans. The grinder is not the issue, its great and never caused issues before, the beans I got elsewhere after are great using it too. Also it was obvious the beans were burnt before they went near my grinder, two of the bags they were so dark they were essentially black and smelled burnt. A visual inspection post roasting would have shown you there was an issue.
