He was a contractor but I am not, so it is worth mentioning that their services are for anyone. The CMME team are extremely knowledgeable and professional, helpful and kept me informed, calm and reassured throughout the whole process. CMME have successfully secured me the best available rate for my mortgage during these volatile times on the market and saw that my mortgage application was submitted in time to take advantage of the favourable rates available. As a self employed person, had I approached our lender directly, we never would have had access to the deals available to CMME clients. Even then, Stacey ensured we could get our original lending amount when the lender made a mistake in underwriting. I would say CMME are essential for self employed people looking for mortgages. Thanks to Stacey and Lauren for helping us through this and making it happen!

United Kingdom | 14 April 2022Incredibly disappointed in the service or lack of service we’ve received. After submitting our initial enquiry online we were called the following day (March 21st) and a meeting arranged for the next afternoon. I took time off work and organised childcare for this meeting and not only did Paul not call, we received no communication explaining what had happened. I chased them by phone and directly to Paul’s email (March 24th) to which he advised he’d experienced I.T issues, gave him the benefit of the doubt. He asked for my availability the following week, which I gave him and have heard nothing since (March 25th). CMME came highly recommended but unfortunately we have been less than impressed by them.

After dealing more than a month and doing what ever they said, they refused me to give mortgage. They never answer the phones and replied mails only with standard messages. Extremely unprofessional, could not understand the case and explained completely wrong, they forced me to change my company shareholder structure and asked for several types of reference letters from my manager. Everytime they asked me to make a change, they responded me that they do not accepted. They kidded us. Ruined my relationship with my managers and partners, vendor and estate agency. It was a very bad experience for me and wasted my time. The only thing I can say is stay away!!!

All very much appreciated! This is the third house we are buying via CMME and we have always been successful thanks to them and specifically Leigh (and Helena for the last one). They also have modern systems in place. Leigh will choose the best lender to suit your needs and expectations and she will fight for the best interest rates for you. Helena will advise you on the suitability of your documents and both will support you throughout the whole process. My partner is a contractor but CMME are experts in dealing with contractors too so this obstacle was turned into a positive. In other words: highly recommended in every way!

United Kingdom | 18 January 2021I work in the contractor market, with most of my contracts between 3-9 months in length, big highstreet banks are very reluctant to provide a mortgage to myself due to the length of my placement. I came across CMME whilst googling, send them a message and Ben Goble gave me a call back next day and explained how they may of assistance/ and their success rate. The whole process was easy to understand and effient, the client document portal was extremely user friendly and Ella who works in the admin team is such a delight to work with, always got back to me with clear/concise replies within 24 hours of any of my questions. (very different to big banks call centres in asia....) During the mortgage application stage, Ella also updated me on the progress of the application from time to time. (this was appreciated as i like a proactive service, not one i have to chase) Today, I sit here with a mortgage offer from Barclays and hopefully in a month or two i will be living in my new house. The whole experience has been easy, the fee CMME charged isn't cheap but it is worth it for level of customer service. (i am a white collar worker myself) I want to thank Ben and Ella for their professionism, and i would recommend anyone who is a contractor to use CMME.

United Kingdom | 25 July 2020Left my details as requested on their website..the contacted me with a phone call later that day and left me a message ..all good.. and then engaged In a brief email exchange to arrange a meeting online at 11 am the next day..their choice.. I cleared my diary and..no show..no apologies no message. A new advisor rang me 1.15 pm left a message, no apology in message,,I rang back at 1.18 answerphone left a message on their designated number..no reply ..rang again 2.15 .. no reply.. 8.30 pm no reply. Please dont bother to reply now as I am not interested in you managing MY money.

The professionalism and knowledge was amazing and it was a very smooth process. They were easy to contact and always willing to answer questions. Kevin was able to give us options based on our circumstances. I would always go back to CMME and Kevin in particular, I highly recommend them for obtaining a smooth and easy mortgage without any real hassle. They managed expectations perfectly and never over promised, but what Kevin did assure on, he delivered on. United Kingdom | 16 September 2019Being a contractor/self employed and with a little bit of a bad credit score I wasn't sure if It was the right time to purchase. Nevertheless, at the beginning of July I contacted CMME which reassured me that it wasn't going to be a problem to secure a mortgage and purchase my first home. Well, CMME turned out to be the biggest waste of time of my entire life, 6-7 weeks of stressing trying to gather all the paperwork needed from all previous agency I worked for and CMME, although it's a paying service, they didn't help me one bit, all they did was request (they couldn't even send an email to an agency I worked for, citing GDPR reasons) what a load of BS! Unprofessional, rude, worst communication ever (they always contact you as they are about to leave the office at 5-6pm with a request and at that time you can't ask them for help or question their demands). Had this Matt Long not reply to my phone calls for 2 days before he left for a 4-5 days holiday. At the end of this ordeal they just called me up one day and said " sorry unfortunately you didn't pass the lender's credit score". No plan B,C, nothing! Another broker would have had at least a second lender to try with. I was lost for hope and about to give up on the this purchase, when someone told me to try Housesimple, and after a week of sorting the paperwork, the application was submitted and after little over 2 weeks of contacting them the first time, the mortgage application came back successful. Steer away from CMME.... use Housesimple, AMS mortgages, Contractormortgages.co.uk, or anything else for that matter.

United Kingdom | 05 July 2019Possibly the worst experience I and my partner have ever had trying to buy a property. Our senior mortgage consultant Leanne Watson always made us feel that she didn't have time speak with us, kept making mistakes with our paperwork and then lied about our mortgage application. It was only when we called the bank ourselves did we find nothing had been done! She then left the company! Things got a little better after we changed to Adam but we had to repeat everything again, the mortgage rate went up and they still wanted us to pay £1000 for their help - NO THANK YOU. The whole debacle made us lose the house we wanted and we didn't get a single note or call with an apology. AVOID

United Kingdom | 13 December 2018Dreadful. Wasted over 2 weeks of my time - which is a lot when you're buying a repossession with a 28 day deadline to exchange. They assured me they could get me a certain amount of mortgage, so I went with them rather than a different broker. When I asked how they could get me such a higher amount in mortgage they had a patronising, smarmy 'don't worry, love, we know what we're doing' attitude. It all turned out to be rubbish as the amount they could get gradually went down and down - by the end it had gone down by 22%! They also didn't reply to me when they said they would so I had to chase them up quite a few times. I have now gone back to the other broker, who seems to know what they're doing. I just hope I don't miss out on securing the property because of CMME. Don't trust them!

Completely let down by an inaccurate AIP because they didnt understand how the chosen lender works. No perception of urgency and no straight answers. Wasted 5 weeks on an declined app. Went to a proper broker and got higher mortgage offer within 2 days!
