I dropped my Stratocaster of 16 years in for its first ever set up following years of a buzzing string. I received the guitar back today following a set up and fret level. Last year, I purchased a Fender 50's Vintera Stratocaster as a 50th Birthday present to self. The guitar has a lovely tone, but I discovered it had annoying string buzz across the fret board. I tried a guitar technician in Norwich twice! but was not happy with the results. I was getting frustrated with the guitar and then I remembered Burman Guitars. After meeting Nick at his workshop, he carried out a setup on my Strat. The guitar now feels and plays fantastic. All done at an affordable price. Nick was so polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Nick is a highly skilled luthier with an eye for detail. I asked him to make me one of his Sola guitars from his range with my own tweaks on colour, pickups and choice of woods. I received a beautiful guitar that is hard to put down totally hand built by just Nick himself. I also got regular updates on the build at all stages. I feel very proud to now own my very own Burman guitar!

Nick very kindly took my Takamine 12 string that needed a lot of tweaking to get even playable. Just a few weeks later it’s as good as new. Nick refurbished an old fender style guitar that had been in my attic for years. Not a small job... at some point in its life the guitar had been "aged" to give that vintage look. Unfortunately it hadn't been done well. Nick did a fantastic job which included respraying, refretting, finishing in nitrocellulose lacquer, changing out the pickups and much more. A transformation!
