Sovereign Taxis got us to Alnmouth Station to catch our train to Edinburgh when the local bus service let us down. The driver was friendly and arrived before his stated time. Excellent service would definately recommend them and use this service again.

Fantastic! Came at the time I had stated, driver was lovely very friendly. We asked if he could pick us up later and he said he would and that we could pay for both trips then. He was there at the time stated too, price was good value for money all round excellent service

Just phoned to book a taxi for Friday morning 8:15am… and was told “cannot do it… on school runs”. Website doesn’t mention this. It should… then people wouldn’t have their time wasted making a call.

Lovely taxi driver and on time but very overpriced. Would definitely recommend getting a quote before you use them. Was charge £50 for a 12 mile journey before 11pm.

Superb service. We were picked up from Doxford Hall and driven to Lochwinnoch, Scotland. The driver was extremely pleasant and chatty. I am a very nervous passenger but felt at ease throughout the entire journey. My husband is unable to communicate verbally but the driver made him feel included in the conversation. The car was comfortable and absolutely spotless. Very enjoyable journey and lovely to have met such a happy driver.

Fantastic service prompt and reliable

John, at Sovereign Taxis is a local hero. We contacted Sovereign after breaking down on the A1 near Alnwick, after 6 hours of faffing around with recovery and failed attempts for the recovery outfit to sort a taxi for us. John responded immediately to our request for a taxi from Alnwick to Amble (c 15 miles) for 4 people plus suitcase and other bags. The journey was prompt and reasonably priced. John was also great company on the drive. It rescued our day and the end of our holiday. We could not praise John / Sovereign highly enough and would recommend him/them to anyone seeking a taxi in the Alnwick area.
