About ai-camp.org

Founded by Stanford Ph.Ds, AI Camp (www.ai-camp.org) teaches the future of technology to middle and high school students, training them to become professionals, and placing the best to work for top technology companies. We aim to establish a different kind of higher education, one where students learn valuable knowledge and skills at work while avoiding crippling student debt. We want to return education to the apprenticeship model (learn-by-doing) that has worked for thousands of years. Our students craft impressive AI products with real-world applications, all of which are valuable additions to their resume and college application portfolio. We firmly believe that AI holds the key to the future, and we're committed to ensuring every student receives a comprehensive education in this transformative technology. Our mission is to open doors for our students and equip them to overcome any obstacles that come their way. We are only as great as the doors we open.

It taught a lot. The 2nd lecture was definitely what taught the most in my opinion. I learned things I wouldn't have otherwise and it brought an interesting perspective. My teacher, Tenny Liu, was really sweet and seemed to care about the subject a lot.

My favorite class was about Convolutional Neural Networks because the concept was very well explained! My teacher, Ms.Stella Dong, was very enthusiastic about the class and enabled us with the right resources to look further into AI.

It was very enjoyable as I learned a lot about deep learning and how data can be used in our lives including looking at careers and it was all taught by a great instructor Ms. Stella Dong.

It was a really fun experience, and I really enjoyed it, learning a lot of brand new information. However, it did seem dull for me from time to time with a lack of interaction (though I understand that interaction can be difficult given our current circumstances).

I have always had an interest in technology and from science fiction movies to YouTube videos, AI has came up frequently. Despite this, I never really understood what AI was on a conceptual level. While AI is a very complicated topic, Sainya did a great job at explaining the fundamentals through interesting and engaging real world examples. I feel like I have a good understand of how supervised/unsupervised and reinforcement work on a basic level. I gained more perspective in how AI is becoming an essential part of our world and the unlimited possibilities/fields that AI reaches. In the end, she also gave great tips about how to find jobs and how to find a field of study that is best for me, which I will keep note of. I am looking forward to what AI will become in the future and how I can make my part in technology and AI.

spent a lot of time just talking instead of actually learning AI concepts, and went an hour overtime every single class. could have learned a lot more considering the time spent, like going more into depth of how AI works, and showing us what people who work there actually do. if we could apply the concepts that would really cement what we learned and actually make us interested. the teacher did engage us, and teach us how we need to plan for our future. she went over each concept carefully.

The course was insightful and eye-opening, but the instructor would usually go over-time and go on tangents. Not very good at interacting with the students, all questions that were asked lacked depth and natural conversation wasn't present. It was somewhat difficult to follow along, as it felt as though the course material was being rushed, and not elaborated on. Generally worthwhile, although could definitely use improvement.

I really enjoyed the AI Camp courses. I learnt about neural networks, machine learning, and different kinds of AI training techniques. I am starting to understand how AI works and I can't wait to use this knowledge to learn more about AI in the future and use it in my career.

Michael was an amazing instructor. His lectures were clear and very engaging, and the small class size made it a comfortable environment to learn in. The last lecture was particularly insightful, since it was the first time anyone had given me a data-based method in finding a career. Thank you, AI Camp!

The classes were short but full of important information. I realized how AI is going to be everywhere in the world, and how it is crucial for us to learn about how it works. The third lecture was my favorite because I realized that we should collect data before setting our minds on one job. The classes were mostly interesting.

The lessons were pretty nice. Three days are not enough to understand this though. I learned some small things, like supervised methods. That's pretty much it. I like Mr. Zhang as our teacher. He made it seem friendly, and I think the lessons were pretty good, especially since they were free as well. Thank you very much, Mr. Zhang and AI-camp.

I really liked the lecture, I was able to learn about machine learning, deep learning and neutral networks. Additionally, we were able to use data to predict future jobs we might be interested in. This shed light on what path I might want to take in college, and beyond that.

I liked all the lectures. Especially the first and last lectures. Those two lectures were regarding things that I am interested in, but also did not know very much about. All three lectures have opened my mind about AI and the ways that it can be applied to regular/daily life to make one's life easier.

Ms. Liu is a great teacher. She was patient and knowledgeable. This class is exactly what it says to be - a Conceptual Class. You will learn a lot about Ai, but it’s background information.

It is a really awesome experiences to learn more about the AI in our world. These lectures are super helpful and they give me a lot more in-depth information about machine learning and the developing AI. I really recommend to take this course as it's short but very helpful for those who want to take coding-related majors in college and career path.

Ms.Liu was an excellent teacher and very sweet. She made sure we understood everything that was going on and made the class as comfortable as possible considering many of us didn't know each other.

I liked it a lot. It was fun just a little confusing because I was younger.
