United States | 25 June 2022I came into this class knowing only the basics of python, I came out of it now knowing how to make my own twitter bot. This AI camp was truly an experience for me and definitely for many others. The amount of attention given to students, the dedication that mentors had for their students and for other non/future coders that were needing help, and the participation of all the students has made this class super interactive and fun. Not only did I learn plenty of useful information for my career, but I made so many friends along the way. If you are considering taking an AI class, or learning coding overall, this is definitely a class for you!

United States | 25 June 2022Joining this camp was the single best decision I have ever made! I am blown away how much I have learned in 3 awesome weeks! We started out learning the basics. We quickly shifted into some complex topics next. The instructors were amazing and made the whole experience so wonderful! I never expected to learn so much in such a short time. I came into the camp with very limited python knowledge and definitely did not know how to make a website. If I was able to learn and create an amazing project, anyone can. There was definitely a lot of hard work put in by my teammates and myself. There is a self learning aspect to this camp and it really teaches you to work independently and become confident in your abilities. Overall, there is a lot of hard work necessary, but it all pays off in the end. I am shocked that it is already the last day. This is coming from someone who was scared on the 3rd day of camp for not knowing what machine learning is lol. You all can do it! It will take some hared work and confidence. It is so worth it!

United States | 25 June 2022An amazing experience, with an amazing curriculum, amazing instructors, and an amazing system. To create fully functional AI models and websites within three weeks is a great achievement. However, I do have some observed flaws 1. If you are expecting to learn how to fully program models from start to finish, this camp may not be the best decision. My team and I often found ourselves working with previously created templates and code, and learning how a few lines function. Furthermore, I found that the majority of programming that we did was actually in the front-end development, a bit contrary to the title of "AI Camp" 2. One of the two metrics for job offers after camp completion, called camper kudos, was created to favour certain students. Firstly, the rate at which Kudos are given out differs among each instructor. The system will prefer the students with instructors who often give out camper kudos over the students with instructors who are more controlled and reserved with their kudos giving. Secondly, the ability for students to give over students kudos was easily exploited (many formed groups and spammed undeserved kudos to each other). As much as these two issues did hinder my experience at the camp, I would most definitely say that the positives that come along with the camp (job offers, teamwork, community, challenges (discord lol), model creation/completion, AI logistics learning) most definitely outweigh the negatives. Again, a great experience. Final verdict: For beginners, this is perfect for an introduction to programming and AI, and is heavily recommended. For more advanced programmers hoping to gain a new application/use for their skills, though a viable option, you may want to look elsewhere (Personal Experience). Love this camp, and loved this experience!

United States | 25 June 2022AI Camp was an amazing experience. I feel like I learned more about coding and data science in three weeks than I did in a year of taking coding classes at school. I learned super useful schools in Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, and how to use APIs. This was a super useful experience, and despite meeting only 4 hours a day, we were able to gather data, clean it, create an AI model, and create a website to display our product. On top of that, all the instructors were incredibly kind and engaging and supported a structure of teaching students how to learn on their own.

United States | 25 June 2022AI Camp was amazing! There are so many amazing people here that you can work with, and collaborating with other people to work on real-world projects has helped me learn a lot. There are some skills here that you can't learn just programming on your own, and working with other people is one of them.

United States | 25 June 2022I loved learning at this camp. Our instructors were awesome, my teammates were fun, and the demos were amazing! It definitely helped that I had some prior knowledge, but I learned things very quickly that I couldn't understand here. I'll definitely be taking this knowledge into college :)

United States | 24 June 2022The 3 weeks I have spent at AI camp were super fun. My computer vision team was full of amazing people with varying programming levels. It definitely gave me more to do than play video games during the first weeks of my summer. The course is super well made and teaches a lot about self-learning and computer programming. The reason I gave this course a 4/5 is because of the expectations vs. reality. I came into this course hoping for a coding from scratch experience, where my team and I would program everything by ourselves. this was not the case. many of the backend python programs were already written for us and we used a lot of resources from other sources. While this didn't take away from the overall experience too much, it sort of left a feeling of dissatisfaction. Just to elaborate, this is NOT a reason to dismiss AI-camp as a scam or a rip-off. In the last three weeks I have accomplished the following: 1. Created my own AI model with yolov5 and roboflow 2. Gotten real-life experience as a product manager 3. Basically learned CSS and HTML 4. Interacted with an amazing team and instructor 5. talked with a community that is always willing to listen and help. AI-camp was the best experience that I have had in a summer camp in the last 3 years. the instructors are always willing to teach you more and help you understand, and the community is truly there to help you. Ultimately for a 3-week course, you can't expect a full in-depth tutorial on what every bit of code does, but you can expect a learning experience, whether you know nothing or if you think you know everything. solid 9/10

United States | 24 June 2022I went into this camp because I have always found technology and AI interesting but I could never find the motivation to learn about it on my own, so I decided it would be great to join a class to learn about it. And it was probably one of the best decision I could make, I left having found a genuine passion for continuing my education in the field and actually enjoying teaching myself more about technology, AI, and computer programming. Not only that but I got to work with a amazing group of like minded people who shared similar interest in order to take a idea and turn it into a full fledged project. I learned how to work with a team and I learned how to self-learn. I would say that it was probably one of the best experiences that I have gone through and I thoroughly recommend it and hope that many others will go to AI camp and enjoy as much as I have.

United States | 11 June 2022Ai camp 1 week was helpful to me because it gave me a positive and inclusive learning environment to learn how to code in python. Our instructor Cameron set a good work pace and was not afraid to offer to help us when we needed it. He also gave us space so that we could work and get things done at our pace. He taught us things that will be helpful in all aspects of coding. All in all Cameron made Ai camp an enjoyable experience.

United States | 11 June 2022AI Camp gives teenagers real world experience in turning an idea into a project that provides value to users. Most courses online aren't project based and can lead to learning knowledge that isn't applicable. But AI Camp is different in that it gave me the tools necessary to apply AI to the real world. At AI Camp, I became part of an extraordinary team of like minded people who want to learn AI. I also become part of a community that shares invaluable resources and is very helpful when I am stuck. In addition, at AI Camp, students get guidance from industry leaders. Guest speakers from tech companies, startups, and AI Camp's own team will talk about their own experiences. They are more than happy to answer questions and have interesting conversations about the future. Also, this was useful in deciding the career path I want to pursue. After I completed the program, I joined AI Camp's team and was able to work on products that provide market value to both customers and the company. Designing curriculum for AI Camp gave me the opportunity to teach what I have learned to a wide audience. Through working on an app to educate everyone about computer vision, I gained frontend experience in frameworks like React, but also learned how to created interactive components that people would want to use. Beyond this, AI Camp was also able to connect me with external companies that I can work with. For example, working on an optical character recognition pipeline within the health industry. Along with working on AI Camp products, this too gave me the industry machine learning experience of helping create an OCR pipeline that would be used in production by the company. Overall, I would highly recommend AI Camp to anyone who wants to gain engineering, computer science, or AI experience in the real world, and build products that will be useful to many people.

United States | 07 June 2022I think if you really want to learn something you have to do a project that you invest yourself in and that's even easier when you have a group who's as invested as you are. I think AI camp provides an excellent scaffold for this type of learning whilst letting you work with those who are equally as interested.
