Wow, I cannot thank Techguy enough for their Services and help regarding problems I had with both iPhone and iPad. They sorted it out within minutes of me walking through their doors. They are a professional friendly team willing to help and solve problems as well as repairs when needed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Well, they might be good on mobile phones - I went to them for a Macbook repair on my daughter's recommendation after they replaced the screen on an iPad - but in my experience and in the experience of another contributor here (a Windows user) the Tech Guy are a disaster when it comes to laptops. Another Mac repair shop (who had previously done excellent work for me and to whom I subsequently took the machine but who are quite far away which is why I went to the Tech Guy) have just informed me the Macbook is beyond repair and asked who was reponsible for the mess they found the laptop in internally. They could no believe the damage that had been caused. I had taken in the laptop to the Tech Guy for what I gather is a common fault but was warned the guy who would look at it would be going on holiday and so I arranged to come back for an update a the day after he came was back. When I did, I was told I had got it wrong, he wasn't back until the following day. I really don't think I got it wrong at all, but that's as may be. Either way the customer relations skills of 'the boss' (I assume he was) are non-existent to bloody awful. He has no idea at all. Far, far worse is the crap they did to my Macbook. I have no idea who it was that looked it, but attempted repairs had been started but - as the second repairer told me - they were a complete abortion. He said he cannot even understand what they were trying to do. I can now only sell an otherwise perfectly good Macbook (i.e. apart from the initial fault) for spares because of this incompetence. I am very angry. Avoid, avoid, avoid (and read what another reviewer here has to say). Would get a solid 0 if that were possible. They want honesty here and for us to be constructive, so my construcitve advice is: avoid!

Any problems with your mobile take it to the tech guys I’ve had numerous small Niggli little problems with my iPhone all Fixed brilliant professional service would not hesitate to recommend

After I made a broken switch in my Steam Deck much worse by trying to fix it myself, Sean and his team came to my rescue by replacing the offending component and restoring full functionailty. It now works perfectly! As a result, I now tell anyone who'll listen to take their tech to Techguy as I'm sure there is literally nothing they can't sort. I'd give ten stars if I could!

I was so sorry to read about the disgusting behaviour to these men who show great respect whenever I go in. We certainly do not want to loose such a wonderful man and his team.

I broke the screen on my phone and went to the Techguy in Wadebridge to see if they could fit a new one. It had to be ordered, and as I was just passing through this was not feasible. However, I noticed that they had a new Samsung, similar to my broken one, at not much more that the cost of a new screen. I am always reluctant to get a new phone because of all the messing around trying to transfer stuff from the old one. No problem it seems.They transferred it all for me in about 30 minutes and sent me on my way with a brand new shiny phone. They even fitted a new cover to hide the glaring pink colour of the new phone. If you need and phone related help in Cornwall don’t even think of going anywhere but the Techguy in Wadebridge. Thank you. 11/10 for great service.
