The bowls I bought were sent back in the exact same condition, and given that most companies offer free returns, I’d be more inclined to shop elsewhere in future.

United Kingdom | 10 January 2025Placed an order on the 28th of December and when I hadn’t received any updates by the 5th of January, I emailed them. Three days later and still without any contact from them, I called the online customer service line during working hours. No response again so I left a message with all my details. Still no answer. Today, on the 10th of January they sent me a half-apologetic email saying that my item is out of stock. Avoid!

Initially I loved the item, and gave it a fabulous review - after being sent a number of persistent emails by the company to rate this item. Unfortunately, one month on, I am really disappointed with the product. It is not durable enough for daily use, and very easily scraped. The paintwork is coming off. I will not purchase anything again from this company on that basis and would not recommend them.

Arrived in perfect condition and the home made touches and notes made it a very special order. I will definitely be buying again from this website purely from the thought and effort that goes into their packages. Great website with lots of gorgeous items, especially wooden toys.

It’s a fact of life that sometimes things won’t always go smoothly, but the way Folk Interiors responded when they did not, means I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Katy was gracious, proactive, engaged (and perhaps most reassuringly, responsive throughout) in resolving these issues satisfactorily. The furniture we ordered was beautiful and well priced.

I returned my order in late November and am still waiting for a response from their customer service about when I can expect a refund. All of my emails have so far gone unanswered.

United Kingdom | 25 December 2022Purchased the Victorian Dollshouse by Plantoys for my daughters Christmas present and it arrived with a crack down the roof. This 'luxury' dolls house retailing for £300 could not be further from a luxury product. Apart from the damaged roof, the overall quality of the product is atrocious. The screws and allen key wore down immediately, and it was simply impossible to construct. Does Folk Interiors not quality control their products? My daughter now won't receive the beautiful dolls house we wanted her to have for Christmas. I'm incredibly disappointed, and shocked at the poor quality of this expensive item.

United Kingdom | 23 December 2022I recently ordered several items as a gift. Despite spending quite a lot of money, I was then charged additionally for 'express' postage. A week later my order still hadn't been dispatched, until I contacted them & was told it would be sent out next day and arrive in 24 hours. It arrived 6 days later and too late to be gifted, so just decided to keep for myself. Then noticed some damage to one of the item's... Have sent several messages over a week long period requesting a replacement, all have gone unanswered. Yes it's a busy time of year for all retailers, but I don't accept that as an excuse for poor service and ignoring customers emails. Very disappointing experience and won't shop here again.

They were delivered quickly and the products were well packaged with care and very cute. The mugs are beautiful and I would definitely recommend and use them again.

United Kingdom | 06 May 2022I decided not to give less than three stars because the refund process was easy. ordered a coffee table which was meant to be delivered in 3-5 working days. Weeks later no update so I decided to chase up, after a call or two and having to chase again I get told you have to wait till August due to logistical issues. I accept these issues are out of their hand but better communication was expected. I am sure the coffee table would have been good though.

This was because a stock image had been used. When I contacted customer support, I had to chase for a resolution and ended up having to return the item.

At the beginning the responses were very slow but now they seemed to have stopped. The cost of the table was £78 and it was paid for back in April.

They were also at a lower price than any other seller I’ve seen in the UK and came with the pillows included! Everything arrived in really nice packaging and I had continual updates from Folk interiors about shipping and arrival times. Will definitely be ordering again soon!
