Great paint! Delivered at the weekend, the colour and finish is excellent. Good stuff

I love Coat Paints. I now use them for all my decorating needs. The paint is thick and easy to apply with no drips or splatter. They have an amazing range of colours. Their customer services team are just brilliant - speedy response, always so helpful. And I love their stick on swatches which make it so easy as you don't have to keep painting the swatches on then washing the brush in between each swatch colour. Overall can't fault them.

I cannot speak highly enough of the colour consultation service with Aaron. I had to set up a pop-up store in a very short period of time, yet didn’t have much idea on how to do this, so I decided to get the colour consultancy service from Coat Paints - this was the best decision. Aaron brought in such a rich and deep knowledge in colours, paints, and interior design to the project, and he was so dependable and supportive throughout the entire process. I provided him our brand style guideline and some inspo photos, and he came up with the amazing colour recommendation that fits into our brand and the furniture that I’ve chosen. The store came out so professionally and beautifully, and we’ve got so many compliments on our store. And this really couldn’t happen without Aaron. Aaron also made the entire process so easy and breezy. His recommendation with the mood boards enable me to visualise the shop and the specific schedule of the entire work that he built for us was so helpful and easy to follow. Also, upon the confirmation on the colours that he suggested, he arranged the delivery of the paints so quickly. The colour combination that he picked were so beautiful and unique. I cannot thank you enough to Aaron for his wonderful work and professionalism. And certainly recommend the colour consultation service.

My first experience with this company and it will be the last. I paid for a colour consultancy as I was wanting help with the right colour to use in a fairly dark lounge. Of all the colours suggested nothing was right so that fell on stony ground. I also asked for advice for colours for my kitchen where I had decided to paintt my cabinets. The so called advice was pretty useless. In the end I made my own decision. I asked how to best prepare the units and did as suggested. I applied two coats of eggshell paint. The paint after 4 weeks is still very slightly tacky and scratches or chips off very easily making the finish very unsatisfactory. I have been refunded the cost of the consultancy but all has gone quiet regards what to do with the paint issues and instead of being delighted with my project I am bitterly disappointed. It now seems all lines of communication have ceased.

You get what you pay for at the end of the day. We were first time users of coat and sceptical at the hype, but the paint is brilliant. We decorated our bedroom in the flat matt and wardrobe in the eggshell finish (Mindful and Good Intentions). Very happy to have found a new fave paint brand and B Corp too!

I’m so happy with COAT Paints! The coverage is amazing and the packaging is eco and looks fab. So happy with the colour and paint consistency and the stick on samples have been spot on to the actual paint too! I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Bitterly disappointed. We bought paint for the walls and matching paint for the wooden units only to find that they are not the same colour. Coat have tried to blame this on 'finish' (type of paint being different for walls and wood) however we have successfully done this in other rooms with other brands of paint. We've spent a lot of money to get a result that is not what we wanted at all.

1.Website note free delivery when you spend >£70...my bill was £120+ yet charged for delivery. Made a complaint and got a refuund. 2. Made one order - website promised quick delivery... This resulted in 3 separate deliveries, which is not ideal when we work full time.. (none were quick). 3. Ordered colour match farrow and ball downpipe. Email sent to confirm this also. Delivered nearly a week later and colour did not even resemble what was ordered. Email sent with pictures of what was sent to us... Even a picture of an opened tin of F&B downpipe, next to what they sent us, to show colour not resembling what we ordered. Due to the delay, frustratingly, we had to drive 8 miles to get farrow and ball downpipe. 4. We have requested a refund and collection of the paint they have sent us over a week ago now... And still no refund or collection of this paint we can not use. Terrible service... Shocking.

Excellent customer service. Paint swatches are perfectly matched and very easy to stick and re-stick when sampling. Paint itself is great quality and am very impressed with the range of shades and tones available. Have used coat in two rooms in my house and am very happy with the application and results.

I would never go anywhere else for paints! The stick on swatches are a great idea and so true to colour! Paint is amazing quality and they offer so many beautiful shades. 100% recommend!

Gorgeous paint, fast delivery and great service. The paint comes wrapped beautifully and goes on perfectly. We loved The Record Store colour it was the perfect “soft black”

I am so disappointed. I painted my kitchen table and it looked great and I loved the colour, but EVERYTHING stains it. Tea, wine, literally everything that spills or drops on it cannot be removed. I even tried cream cleaner. It's only been a couple of weeks but the table looks decidedly unloved! Will have to revert to my usual brand.

I loved the fact you could order peel and stick swatches instead of a tester pot. The green I used “Nomad” is the most beautiful deep earth green. It went on a treat and I’ve been so pleased with it. It’s a very Matt finish which is what I like. Overall very happy.

I absolutely loved using COAT paint for the first time. The coverage was brilliant and rich colour I selected is divine. The peel and stick colour swatches are so handy and are a true representation of the paint finish you can expect. Highly recommend to anyone who has never heard of, or used COAT paints before.

Coat is hands down the best paint I've used. After using the peel and stick swatches, I settled on the colour 'and breathe' in matt for the walls and eggshell for the wood and metal to give a colour drench effect to my living room. I used two coats and it covered everything flawlessly. It painted smoothly with no drips or splatters and dried very quickly. Absolutely zero smell, so no headaches and no 'freshly painted smell' to greet you in the morning. I would absolutely buy again (already eyeing up my next project!).

Bought The Record Store (flat matt) paint. The colour is fantastic. The finish is sub-par. On two coats of a previous (dark) colour it is still patchy; and do not attempt to go over marks or touch ups, as once dry they do not blend in at all. Roller marks are also super obvious in the finish at certain angles. I've never had any of these issues with any other "top" paint brand i've used. I'm not a professional decorator but I know enough and i'm competent enough to usually get a nice finish on the walls. The only option I have now is to buy another 5 litre can of paint and re-do the whole lot or move to another paint brand and start again, as i'm not happy with the finish at all. Its a real shame as the selection of colours are beautiful, but for the premium price tag I just feel really let down with the finish.

Firstly - amazing paint. But more importantly, great customer service. We had a delivery issue (nothing to do with Coat, just the delivery company forgetting to re deliver) but they sorted immediately for me, were very responsive and helpful. Really happy with the product and the experience - highly recommend.

I am so frustrated by this paint.having left a review previously my update is that…having not been able to touch up small marks I have been building up to repainting two entire walls. Coat insist that I did something wrong - didn’t use the same tin of paint ( I did ) or didn’t use the correct brushes and rollers ( I did ) I have now gone back to the tin of paint and it is full of hundreds of powdery clumpy lumps that I cannot get rid of. I opened and closed the tin correctly and stored it correctly. It is only a few months old. I am so infuriated that this paint is not only awful to apply but you cannot touch it up and then you cannot store it to use it at a later date when you have to re paint entire walls because of small scratches. I have never encountered such annoying paint. My options are now buy more paint or repaint an entire room. I am an experienced decorator so this isn’t just due to me making mistakes. I would highly recommend not using this paint

Huge fan of Coat! I work as an Interior Stylist and I always recommend Coat to my clients (and to all family and friends.) Not only do they have a wide selection of gorgeous shades, but the paint glides on beautifully and the coverage is great. I won't go anywhere else now! Thanks Coat, keep doing what you're doing.
