A big 'thank you' to the Go Fly Your Kite team for an excellent interactive workshop. It was enjoyed across all classes in our school. The kites were very user friendly and so much fun was had. Thank you for reminding us not to overlook the simple things!! I would highly recommend this STEM workshop to all schools.

From the minute we started communication, I was so impressed with go fly your kite. George was excellent to explain everything, the packs arrived weeks in advance. It was a fabulous workshop and very well ran. I would highly recommend it. The boys in my class went home very happy with their kites yesterday.

Excellent experience with “fly your kite”. Everything was so organised and thoroughly planned to allow for a seamless science lesson. The resources supplied; accompanying videos and the live workshop for the kids were excellent. The kids really enjoyed taking part. Thank you.

Workshop was excellent.

My class participated in a zoom workshop about kite making. I recieved my pack in advance and had a pre lesson zoom to inform me about the workshop. the only thing I had to provide was permanent markers. Everything was simply explained and I felt prepared for the day. The zoom call to the class was an information session on the science bits. I was impressed by the way the host managed to get interaction within the classroom. I was also provided with an instructional video which I played (and re-played) during the kite assembly. My class produced lovely kites after the zoom call ended. The process took a lot longer than I thought (around 3hrs in total). The cost of permanent markers was a lot more than I expected. Apart from that it was easy, fun and informative. we all enjoyed the activity. I would recommend it from 3rd-6th Class

Very well organised. Well delivered remotely. Teachers well prepared and informed and equiped to assist in advance. Pitched at correct age level. Engaging, hands on construction activity with a long lasting tangible product for individual use afterward. Highly recommended.

Very good workshop. Materials delivered in excellent time and surplus kites was great idea due to errors made by pupils. Child friendly language and clear instructions.

The children loved it! The Zoom worked really well. The video provided prior to the workshop provided all the information required to design and create the kites. We had plenty time to look at the resources and video prior to the Zoom.

Great service, arrived promptly. My daughter loved designing her own kite. Once assembled it's really easy to fly too. My daughter is 4 and it was the perfect present. I've since bought more kits for newphews!

We had a really great workshop with 'Go Fly Your Kite'. I found them very helpful throughout the process and really easy to deal with. My class thoroughly enjoyed it and especially enjoyed the kite making activity. It was done online through zoom out of necessity with current restrictions but it was done so well. This was a really good lesson about Space Week and the moon. The children loved it and gained a real level of interest in all things lunar related and they loved how the kite art meant they take something away with them.

We held two virtual workshops with Go Fly Your Kite for Space Week 2020 on the 7th of October. In this new online world I was a little apprehensive as to how virtual workshops would go but I needed have worried. Glenn and George are true professionals and the workshops were really great! If anything the children seem more intrigued and engaged and gave the presentations their full attention! They had plenty of questions for George and as always he went over and above to answer them all. All in all the workshops were a great success and I would like to commend Go Fly Your Kite on having developed a really good online model for their workshops. They were a big hit for us at MIC for Space Week!

Just bought my second kit for a gift. Absolutely delighted both with the service and the product. Great fun for all ages and gives kids a sense of satisfaction designing then flying their own kites and gets them out enjoying the great outdoors! Definitely recommend Go Fly Your Kite!

Excellent, instant flyers in light winds with options on decoration.

What a wonderful activity for all ages! We all loved designing and colouring our kites but the most fun by far was flying them. Glenn and George are so good at what they do and had great time for the children throughout the decorating process and showing the children how to fly their kites. A thoroughly enjoyable morning and no doubt Go Fly Your Kite will be returning to Tobin Centre in the not too distant future.
