AWFUL experience with them, will try to brief it. My Mum bought a powerchair off them, the all singing and dancing one. She's on oxygen and needs a chair to get around on and for hosp, docs appointments. Chair arrived and we charged it up according to instructions. All the user manuals are written in poorly translated Asian, it didn't correspond to the appliance in several ways and you have to work it out for yourself. There's no way my elderly Mother would have been able to understand it if she was on her own. Mum tried the chair out by going up the lane 600 yards and back, all seemed well. 1 day later she had a hosp appointment, I loaded it up carefully in the van and off we went, when we tried to use it the key fob wouldn't make the chair open so we couldn't use it. I had to go and get a porter's chair down for her instead. NOT impressed. Got home and unloaded, the other key fob we had at home opened the chair so one of the two key fobs is faulty, the chair beeped/flashed 5 times when we tried to turn it on, it says in the manual that this means the right hand motor has a short to the battery connection. Plus it said the battery was flat, this chair had only been 600 yards up the lane at a gentle pace and back yet was supposed to travel up to 9 miles on one charge? Charged it up again, same thing so we gave up with it. Mum decided that as it had 3 serious faults from brand new that she didn't want it. I contacted Elite as it was still within the 14 days cooling off period telling them it was faulty, not fit for purpose and to come and get it as she was rejecting it. They have just been and want a £60 collection fee! I don't think so, if the money for the chair is not returned asap and no collection fee added I will be seeing them in the small claims court. I would not recommend this product or this company to anyone I WILL update this at a later date about whether Elite have given my Mother her full refund or not. UPDATE: Well, today I have heard from elite, they say there's no fault with it! Of course they do! I did take a video of the chair showing it fully charged, then me trying to use it and the beeping and flat battery warning as well as the non functioning key fob. They say they don't pay out until Friday, if a full refund isn't forthcoming including the "£60 collection fee" then, next stop is my solicitor. I have spoken to trading standards over this too. I will wait until Friday to see what turns up. Update: We receive in the post a receipt from Elite today 08-10-19. They haven't charged my Mum the £60 collection fee for their faulty goods, saw sense at last did you Elite? The money that has been paid back, hasn't arrived yet in the card account so watching and waiting. I would STILL say to anyone who uses Elite mobility to becareful, read all the small print and shop around and DON'T sign for anything until you ask them about hidden fees/charges and get an answer in writing and signed if possible. IF you get faulty goods from new such as we did, video the faults so they can't try to say there's nothing wrong with the item as they did with us. CONCLUSION: NOT a trustworthy thing to do is it, sell an 86 year old woman with breathing and heart problems a powerchair costing £3,000 that turns out to be faulty and they try to charge her 60 quid to collect it, speaks volumes. Make your own mind up.

I have recently taken delivery of a Mini Crosser X1 with increased speed and 85 amp batteries. I exchanged my Mini Crosser M1(2) which I had for 18months and travelled 5065 miles!! Elite have been excellent at dealing with any problems that I have had.. and they are 200 miles away .. I couldn’t get the same service locally.. a real pleasure to deal with.. and a product that to me is the best on the market.. my Freedom Pass

You know when you walk into a shop and don't really know what you are looking for.....well this company will go that extra mile to help you out. The salesman was very helpful, took us out the back, up stairs, ciggy break, coffee. In the end, after a demonstration and test ride we went for the Zeolite. It has brought the family back together, we can now enjoy outings together and enjoy the company of our grand children. Excellent staff and a brilliant shop. Have had the scooter for six months and I wish I had got one a lot sooner. Thank you Elite.

Although some of the people I have spoken with are like “high powered” salesmen they are always courteous and helpful. Their customer service is excellent and they are usually very prompt.

This is a really friendly company who unlike some are happy to give you the time to look around the store and once you found what you want they are happy to answer any questions you may have. I have used Elite Mobility several times and I would recommend them to anyone looking for equipment. If it's not in store they are happy to order it in. You are not pressured to buy items they want to sell you and their prices personally I feel are better than most. They believe in helping disabled people and are not all about making money from them.
