I appreciate the creativity behind this gift, but I found it to be quite overpriced for what it offers. I purchased a box for around $65, and while the presentation was unique, the actual contents were underwhelming. The box itself was approximately 5" x 5", containing a very small cake that fit in the palm of my hand. With shipping, the total cost came to $80, which included some pop-out butterflies and a mini cake that seemed to be worth significantly less than the price paid. While the concept is fun, the overall value felt more in line with a $20 experience rather than the $80 cost.

My biggest issue was that it arrived 5 days before Valentines day and needed to be opened because there is perishable food inside. The butterflies didn't fly nearly as well as the videos showed. Still a creative gift that was appreciated.

My experience would have been better of the TO: and FROM: were not printed on the outside label. I wanted it shipped to me so I can give it as a surprise. Once she saw the outside label the jig was up.

The cake and the box in comes in is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be for the money.

This was an awesome purchase. My wife LOVED it and was it a surprise. What got her was the note attached to the outside of the box. Bravo, will be purchasing again soon.

My sister is in a nursing home and her knees are shot so she cannot get out of bed. I had to take in her 2 older dogs. So I sent her this gift with the pictures of her pet and an old picture of our grandmother home and she just loved it. It was such a surprise, and with the one cupcake which was enough for her. It just made her day and she smiled. She is out of state and does not have visitors. I cannot get there in bad weather so this was perfect.

The butterflies never flew…. It was sad and disappointing.

On time delivery

The presentation was great! The box, the cake, the music, the butterflies all were wonderful. However, the cake tasted terrible and the customer had no choice on the cake. Since this is a “Send A Cake” service I would expect the taste of the small cake and options to be WAY better than this.

Prompt delivery and package getting opened was pretty good! The butterflies didn’t fly but, they did move around a bit on the floor. It was pretty good overall. I will be using the service again.!!

My fiancé really enjoyed the butterfly flying out after opening the box with the cake and the delivery was right on time like they said. I was very satisfied.

The gift itself (for my son + his girlfriend) was great! The cards shooting out was so fun, the music was loud and clear, the cake is tiny—but this is all about the experience, sooo… The express shipping charge was a ripoff! I ordered this over a week before Valentine’s Day. If I paid regular shipping, “it may not arrive by your selected delivery date.” If I paid for express, it would arrive within a block of dates, with an arrival date no later than February 13th. IT LITERALLY SHIPPED THE DAY I PLACED MY ORDER, and they received it on FEBRUARY 7th! I’m really tired of companies taking us for a ride in this matter. I most likely will not order again—which is too bad—I know of others that would really get a kick out of receiving one.
