Farmison meat is second to none. I love the fact that they supply rare breeds and truly free range. Their Chicken and Pork is dark and tasty as it should be, not like the pale, wet and tasteless inferior meat that’s pumped full of water on sale in the supermarkets

There is very little wrong with the product from Farmisons or the delivery and service

meat is ALAWAY FRESH and delivery is on time. no one has pawed over the food ie like the supermarkets have open shelves and who knows who handled the packages

Made a mistake with my order , contacted customer services on what’s app and they sorted it straight away. Meat is different class ,especially when you follow their recipe ideas , can’t go wrong

The Nidderdale sausages, Ripon bacon and chicken thighs are all excellent - so much so that we've ordered again, along with a couple of chateau steaks (which were also very good). The beef and lamb mince, however, were not so good. The flavour was fine, but as they come compressed into a vacuum pack, the meat is compacted into a solid lump when opened. Even with far more breaking up in the pan with a spoon, you still get lumps in the end result. Great if you want to make a burger - as it comes out of the packaging almost as a big burger - but not so good for a ragu or a cottage pie. The packaging is the problem rather than the actual meat. 5 stars for the bangers and bacon; 2 stars for the mince.

Happy with the meat, but the box / packing seems a bit over the top - not very environmentally friendly. Could be reusable (option to return), have less filling and more compact. But happy it’s from local farms and it’s quality meat so will continue ordering. Would be great if you were selling liver and bones for making broths. Thanks
