When ever we have bought meat, bacon etc from farmison in the past it’s been amazing you just can’t beat the taste of everything we have brought from farmison and the last delivery was as always with farmison absolutely delicious

Excellent ordering and delivery process as ever. Had the burgers which were amazing, fillet steak at Christmas was the best we’d ever had. Lamb ribs a little chewy (and not sure I’d order again out of season) highly recommend for grass fed beef and high welfare meat.

Have used Farmison mail order and visits to the shop for about 5 years now. Delivery is always easy, packaging is good. The meat is of excellent quality, which makes it an extra pleasure to cook. Thank you Farmison.

Mixed opinion This was my first order with Farmison and I like the ability to buy some cuts that are not readily available in the supermarkets. Some of the meat is in my freezer so I can't comment on the quality of the lamb mince or the diced mutton, however, the silverside joint was a little disappointing. The flavour was ok, but having cooked it exactly as instructed on the website, it was chewy and not tender. If I purchased another I would definitely be doing it in my slow cooker instead. The Nidderdale sausages were fine, although I feel they are a little expensive, and were squashed in the packaging. The mutton mince had a good flavour but a little too fatty for my taste.

This is the first time I have ordered meat from Farmison but my goodness, I will be doing so again very soon. The meat was beautifully prepared, packaged and delivered on time. The pork joint was so tender that I couldn't leave it alone and kept going to the kitchen to cut another slice. I am absolutely certain that the beef joint will be equally as good. Really great selection of top quality meat. I love that it supports small farms too. Delivery and customer service are good. I was kept informed and the meat arrived, perfectly chilled, on the day I requested.

ease of using on line ordering. delivery on schedule, excellent taste

We have used Farmisons on many occasions, they have always delivered on time. The quality is always excellent from their sausages, lamb/pork chops, steaks, duck and Porchetta to the Boston butt (9 hours cooking but really worth it) I would recommend them to anyone.

The beef is really tender and full of flavour and the chicken tastes as it should, not like the insipid supermarket chicken. If you have forgotten what chicken should taste like, try theirs.

The mutton mince is delicious, a good flavour and not ground too fine. The black pudding is also excellent, perhaps slightly too generously seasoned if it is to be the main element of breakfast. The shoulder of mutton was a little disappointing but perhaps shoulder always is - not enough meat, too much fat and hard to carve. Perhaps I should have gone long and slow.

All items came overnight chilled and were excellent when cooked.

Meat was excellent, delivery on time. Only drawback was package very wet at base, cardboard disintegrating. This did not affect meat. So overall great!

I was increasingly concerned about the lack of transparency around meat and had looked around to find a place that offered maximum transparency. Farmison & Co provides 100% transparency (you can see/speak to/farm/farmer/feed) for every type of meats, and the taste...wow! My husband is the cook in our home and he has been so impressed with every cut he's cooked...from chicken (100% free range/corn fed) to venison (wild) to bacon (no nasty coming out AT all) The delivery was smooth (from Yorkshire to Angus) and the packaging was amazing. I cannot recommend this company and products enough and they will be my regular supplier from now on.

The meat from here is always absolutely delicious. Delivery is prompt and the meat is well packaged. I knocked off a star because sometimes too much fat is trimmed from the meat.

Superb service Quality meat

The order was quickly dispatched and received on the requested date. So far, everything is delicious, special shout out for their chicken, it tastes so much better than that bought in a supermarket, even though we usually buy organic, and the price is very similar.
