United Kingdom | 08 December 2023Signed up in June 23 when the company were hoping to start trading. The proposed registered manager pointed us in the direction of Flexebee. Unfortunately, we didn’t start trading and are still awaiting CQC inspection. Im not employed by the company but am associated with the account due to signing up with them. Notified Flexebee of our circumstances and that we are struggling to make payments. They gave us 2 months worth of grace which was great but the payments were still trying to be taken out of the company bank when there wasn’t any money in it. They did take payment but we were 2 months missed which they said they’d put down to the 2 months grace. Received an invoice for £1900 and I was very confused when asking about it. I have no clue what’s going on, but just received an email to say they’ve registered a CCJ against the company. The company is still dormant and we did relay this to Flexebee - would have been great to find a better resolution to be able to pay when the company is trading rather than it come to this?? Care companies are seriously needed and we are just trying our best - there is a major backlog with CQC and we had been told by them multiple times that we’d be registered but the time frame is getting bigger and bigger. I think going for a CCJ is not okay - there are many people who need help and we’ve waited so long for our company to get to the CQC approved stage - we are just at inspection. With this hanging over us, we may have to close the entire company! Highly unfair that Flexebee couldn’t come up with a better solution to this as they were aware of our situation… a CCJ against a new care company awaiting inspection is highly unreasonable when we could have made arrangements to pay immediately upon trading. Gobsmacked that they have potentially closed down a care company due to them demanding money for our situation and not having a heart to help us and come up with a better solution..
