Really pleased with the quality of the kitchen. I opted for the flat pack option to save money and assembling the units was really easy; they have instructional videos on the website. The units themselves are very good quality. You can really feel and see the difference when compared to the usual kitchens you would find in some of the high street competitors. We've had many compliments from visitors!

We worked with Martin & John to design our kitchen; we had a good idea of what we wanted and they brought great suggestions and experience to the design. I found the ordering process simple and we received everything within good time and good order. We are delighted with the quality of the kitchen; especially at the price point. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

**Mixed Experience - Quality Has Declined** We first used Painted Kitchens Company around five years ago and were extremely impressed with the quality. Everything was made in the UK, the doors fitted perfectly, and the whole process—from purchase to installation and painting—was flawless. The craftsmanship was top-notch, and it felt like a truly premium product. However, having recently used the company again, the experience was quite different. I suspect the company may have changed hands, as the kitchen units now appear to be imported (I believe from China), and unfortunately, the quality has dropped noticeably. There were issues with poor finishing on some of the units, incorrect dovetailing, and doors that didn’t fit properly. I had to spend quite a bit of time adjusting cupboard doors and hinges just to get them to close properly. The service itself was good, but the overall product is just not what it used to be. Given our experience, we sadly wouldn’t use Painted Kitchens Company again, which is a real shame considering how exceptional they were in the past.

We shopped around trying to find a good kitchen supplier with solid reviews. We didn't realise how much prices could vary and the quality was hit and miss. After being recommended CKD, we went to the showroom and saw their displays. Great quality and competitive prices. We explored different design options and discussed some bespoke pieces - all of which was done very professionally. The kitchen has been in for a couple of months and it looks fantastic. Really pleased with the results and can recommend with confidence.

The kitchen units are lovely. There were quite a few hiccups in getting them delivered and fitted, and as a result my project took a few weeks longer than expected, so I would say build in flexibility to your project! - but Alan stepped in and saved the day in the end. It all feels worth it now the kitchen is installed and very pretty indeed.

We were spoilt for choice with all the kitchens Classic Design have to offer. There really is something for every pallet and it goes without saying the quality is second to none! CKD are a great option if you are looking for an inexpensive hand build kitchen. We are very pleased with ours and it looks much more expensive than it was. The people we dealt with during the process were very helpful and very flexible - I would definitely recommend.

Has been a pleasure to make our dream Kitchen a reality with CKD. I really thought that the concept of a hand made kitchen was well out of our price range but it isn’t. CKD offer excellent value for money on a product that looks and is really ‘high end’ We absolutely love the style of our kitchen and get so many complements about it. They are very professional and offer a no fuss service, there is responsibility on the customers side to do all of the measurements and get that all right, but once that is done the CKD team take over and are really creative. We also had a number of ‘bespoke’ units build for those difficult places! Which again weren’t hugely expensive. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company great product!

This is a great way of getting a fabulous painted wooden kitchen at a great price. There is so much choice with cupboards and style that you will end up with a truly unique kitchen. Everyone who visits our home comments on how beautiful it is. This is the second kitchen we have had from classic kitchens ( due to moving house) , we love it.

I needed a new kitchen as part of a house extension, and wanted something above the usual mass market kitchen suppliers. I looked at a couple of central London showrooms, but the cost / value ratio didn't match. After some long nights searching the internet, I discovered Classic Kitchens Direct (CKD). I sent off my plans to Alan, and over a few weeks (and a showroom visit) we tweaked the design to meet my (slightly) demanding specification and budget. Throughout the process, CKD were incredibly helpful, and gave valuable suggestions along they way. I supplied my own measurements. I asked for a couple of bespoke items which they were more than happy to accommodate - another differentiator where similar competitors were not so obliging. The kitchen itself is fantastic - I genuinely could not be happier. The quality of the units and workmanship is outstanding - and the little touches I asked for have greatly enhanced the overall feel. The installation process had a couple of small issues, but these were sorted quickly and the units were installed on time and exactly as expected. We decided to go for primed, and the decorators had no issue finishing off the units with the colour / paint we wanted. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending CKD, and have already done so to friends and family.

I had a boiler case made by Classic Kitchens Direct for our kitchen-dining room. It is cleverly designed, disguised as a wine rack (and can be used as a wine rack so very useful too), and very beautifully made. The staff are very kind and helpful throughout the process, from the stage of consultation, quotation, and also especially helpful when I had an issue with the delivery I arranged myself to pick it up. Highly recommended.
