Let me begin by saying that I did eventually get a DOC.X draft of my ebook. I managed to get them to produce something by holding out the promise of using them for my next two works. Otherwise I would not have gotten much more than a few pages. They did not format like they promised. They used the trick I thought I invented in college of giant font to make the work appear longer. Many "pages" had one word. I decided it was good enough. I know from trying to sur a gov agency that technology exists for your opponent to take back all emails and attachments they ever sent you and I guessed they would do this if I did not pay more. As soon as I got the "good enough" work I self published on Kindle. I printed it out. I saved it on different devices and shared it with different apps. What a good thing, bc I can't open anything they sent me from my email account. They started blatantly lying, claiming I need to pay $3000 to get my ebook on the platforms. That's money they get, not the platforms. I never told them about Kindle for fear of sabotage and they think I am as dumb as I acted. They never googled my ebook so they don't know that I know they are lying when they say I have to pay for the production of hardcover books in order to self publish an ebook They partially set up my accounts on platforms like Google books but they won't give me the passwords and I can't get past the error message on Google books. I am going to try the other platforms mentioned in the generic but helpful guide to self publishing. Maybe they couldn't block me from publishing on Amazon bc Amazon is not letting anything block them from getting free products to sell, even if it is an unknown writers first book Delta ignores me when I say "go away I'm on my own" and keeps offering to split the $3000 payment in half despite unequivocally stating "no more money for you!" They act like I never responded, asking me if I've decided to publish. Yesterday they tried to scare my by threatening to delete my book. I had some fun and suggested they keep the work they did so when they look for new jobs they have something to attach to their resume. They corrected themselves by saying if I didn't pay they'd block my access. They already blocked my access but they don't know that I know their moves from my unusual life experiences. Ultimately I have an ok diet book that*s decently written, on Kindle. They did the writing, I put it on Kindle. Is that good enough for my $4000? It will be if I market the book and get reviews, none of which are services they include in this latest threat/offer. So let's say I paid them to ransom the ebook I already purchased. Let's say they published it on all the platforms, which they had said they'd do but now threaten to contact the platforms and inform them I'm not moving ahead and my application will be erased. Sounds scary if you did t know better. Anyway, I would no doubt find that unless I advertise I can't sell anything even though they promise that if I give them $3000 more I can sit back and collect my royalties. I imagine they'd say, you never paid for marketing. $5K more! I know their game and outsmarted then bc if I hadn't anticipated they'd block access to the work I owned, I would have nothing. Also I had to trick them into doing the work and it took 6 months longer. If you want to play games, it is possible to beat them but do not expect more than draft and get access into your hands the moment they produce. Do not go through their system bc they can lock you out. The first nano second they change their story and back pedal on promises do the same with your own strategic fake promises of future payments that will now have to be sent elsewhere if a completed draft is not forthcoming. I wish I hadn't let my excitement get away from me bc I did not perform due diligence until I knew I was being hustled. Once they read this review maybe they will change their tactics so my advice can't help anyone. I won in a small way But I lost too bc I spent so much time tricking people into giving me what I paid for bc dishonesty is the only way to deal with them. By the way, I suspect other companies that contacted me with a cold call were the same people bc I recognized the writing/speaking style. They'd probably fall over laughing if I thought I was taking my business elsewhere. The stuff people write about no real address, well, that's not an indicator (IMHO) of an automatic scam when everyone works remotely. They accurately pointed out that membership in BBB is something available to any one willing to pay a large fee. Don't let that BBB stamp lull you into a false sense of security. Delta taught me that when I asked for that credentials. Anyway-- What a good thing they wrote me off as a dumb female who couldn't possibly outwit them! If any of this appeals to you and the legit ghostwriters are too pricey, you might, might want to chance it.
