Great chair!

Easy to use website, ordered my new chair and desk combo and everything arrived very quickly in good strong packaging. My husband built them both up the next day. Very simple to assemble, or so my husband said and we are both happy with the results.

I bought an ergo mesh on Tuesday and it arrived Wednesday morning, unbelievably quick, I could not believe it. The chair is very comfortable as well, so all in all a perfect experience with Office Boffins thank you, Emily.

I recently ordered an Ergo Mesh office chair from Office Boffins as I thought it looked like a good quality chair and the free delivery was a big plus point too. The chair was delivered faster than I expected and I have to say the quality of the chair surpassed my expectations also. Very comfortable for sitting for long days at the computer and so far I have nothing to complain about. Overall, it was a great, flawless service from start to finish and I'll definitely be kitting out my small studio with more Office Boffins furniture.

We recently re-fit our office with storage and placed a large order for cupboards with Office Boffins. Their service was very good and the cupboards are of a high quality. The product I bought has to be the most uncomfortable chair I've ever known. It's never locked out properly so it always tries to push you forward and where it does lock out, it's too far back to sit upright in your chair. Also ended up having to replace several parts shortly after purchase. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the customer service was reasonable. Update - My review is based on the chair alone, however, that is a disservice to the fantastic customer service from Office Boffins. After receiving and extremely prompt response from Office Boffins, its safe to say they have moved mountains to ensure I am satisfied as a customer. Whilst I still cannot give ya 5 star review based on the chair, I can give 4 stars based on the integrity of the company. Note: Date on the review is not accurate

I ordered a bookcase and the quality of the materials is good but it was delivered in the rain and the packaging was soaked. It’s a miracle that the product itself was not damaged. The tape they use to attach screws etc to the panels is too strong and very difficult to remove. I slightly scratched the veneer trying to get it off. I asked what I should do with the pallet and they are completely non responsive. I now need to break it up and take it to the dump. With a litttle more effort they could be very good. It’s a real shame.

Bought multiple chairs over the years, always good quality. This time round I had an issue with a faulty part. Had a response within an hour and it was agreed to send replacements within a day.

Ordered a heavy duty office chair 10 working days ago, and it has arrived exactly on the 10th working day. Exactly as described and correct per my customisations (choice of fabric and arms). Feels excellent quality.

I foolishly ignored the negative feedback from other customers, and purchased a Chiro Medium Back Posture Operator Chair (order number 7399061), only to find, as others have said, that these are cheaply made, with poor QC. From the start, the supposedly brand new chair had unsightly lumps and creases, and a wobbly back. The manufacturers did send a replacement back which partly resolved the wobbling issue, but which in turn had even more unsightly creases. However, these issues actually only serve to detract from the main issue, which is that this chair is extremely uncomfortable. Padding is minimal, and the seat and back are rather hard. Most importantly, even at full back tilt, because of the sloping front of the seat, one keeps tending to slide off the seat. I am only 5'3", and if I find the chair uncomfortable, you can be sure that most others will almost definitely find it so. This chair, for me, is unfit for daily use, and has been consigned to a quiet corner for occasional use by visitors. Granted, Office Boffins do not manufacture the chairs, but if they choose to sell them, they must take responsibility for them. I would have returned the chair, but I had unfortunately not kept the packaging. These chairs come in huge boxes, which, in small abodes, take up an inordinate amount of space, making their retention for an indefinite length of time quite impractical. So, if you can't safely stash the box out of the way, you'd be well advised to avoid buying one of their chairs. Better still, save yourself the bother of having to return a poor chair, even if you have space for box storage, by not buying it at all in the first place.

I ordered a chair from this website, hoping it would be a comfortable addition to my home. After using it just once or twice, I quickly realized that it did not suit my back and caused significant discomfort. When I reached out to the company to request a return, I was shocked by their refusal. They claimed that because I had chosen a specific color, the chair was considered "personalized" and therefore ineligible for return. This reasoning is absolutely absurd. A simple color choice should not void a customer's right to return a product that is clearly unsuitable. I even offered to exchange it for a different chair, but they still denied my request. This experience feels like a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, and I’m seriously concerned that this practice might be in breach of consumer rights. I would advise anyone to think twice before purchasing from this company.

Ordered a Chiro High Back Posture Chair on 16 May and it was delivered shortly thereafter. Since the chair was supposed to be designed for ultimate comfort and back support at a cost of £360.00 I did not expect it start creaking and distorting after a number of weeks. Their website states the chair is designed to be used 24 hours a day, yet 91 days after purchase, the chair is clearly not fit for purpose, ie posture and chiro care, and is completely sub-standard. They tried to fob me off saying the chair is only covered by a parts warranty, and the manufacturer has the right to repair the chair, but this is just a lie. Under the consumer rights act 2015, Office Boffins are in breach of contract. My contract is NOT with the manufacturer. I would personally avoid this company at all costs. The goods being supplied are paraded as good quality and the real deal, but no doubt, judging by many of the other comments and my own experience, they are selling cheap, sub-standard goods.

I am not an expert, but after putting up with these chairs for over a year and now researching into new chairs I realised, the problem was not with me, but that they are poorly designed. When I purchased these, it was with a view of spending a lot of hours studying time. I purchased two for nearly £600 and they looked "so proffessional looking". I realised though that after even sitting for 40 minutes my ankles started swelling, the back of my legs hurt and my bum feels numb. I should be able to sit for longer that that. It is all in the performance. I get up hourly anyway to stretch my legs and walk around, but I realise these chairs are cutting into the back of my legs even though I have adjusted the seating. The leg length is short and I am only 5ft 6inches tall. The seat is quite hard as well. I can sit and have sat on office chairs at work all day, with absolutely no pain or swelling anywhere whatsoever, when I have had a lot of admin to do. My role is very physical in general so I am not one to sit around unless I need to. Such a shame. I have put up with them for a year. I should have said something, but would never buy from office boffin again. It was a waste of money.

Was told I'd have to pay £30 for a replacement part for a chair that was sent out to me broken. Not worth the effort to argue when I can pick up the part for £1, but the service is awful.
