When I began to consider getting a solar system I had contacted nine solar panel installation companies, but only one of them came back with an appropriate solution at a price that made sense. This was North Cork electrical. From my first contact with James I got the vibe that I was dealing with a company who put their attention to the delivery of a quality product to suit the needs of their client. The design engineer took on board my questions and prepared six different options for different sized systems, with and without batteries. The options were clearly presented using the Opensolar app. The performance estimates looked realistic. When I decided to book, the process was straightforward, the method of payment and contract was fair. Grant applications and the BER were taken care of. The installation crews were friendly and efficient. When I initially had a technical teething problem it was sorted remotely and promptly. Overall, dealing with the company was a good experience and one month in the system is working as I anticipated.

After talking to many installers I am happy that I went with NCE. Richie was very knowledgeable and provided me with a specification I was most happy with. The whole process was delayed a year by the TAMS grant but once I got the go ahead, they gave me dates and stuck to them. The work was to a high standard and the men who carried it out were exceptionally pleasant and professional. I am extremely happy with the whole experience and the finished product and I am delighted to recommend them to anyone thinking of installing solar.

Communication in the office is very bad. Constantly chasing for updates and did not show up on site when they were meant to. Honestly is was a painfull experience, would not recommend.

Excellent stuff! Roofers had panels up in 4 hours! The electricians, Jack and Michael are to be commended. Had a very difficult job in drilling holes through 3 foot walls etc. did it without a bother and made sure they cleaned up as they went along. They went beyond the call of duty. Did an excellent job. Explained everything in find detail during and afterwards. Highly recommended and trustworthy. If you’re thinking king of getting EPS and NCE out to do a job, give it no second thoughts. Just do it. Worth every penny.
