If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! A year ago I had just received 4 pre-interview rejections from med school and I felt not only deeply upset but entirely lost as to what my next steps would be. I knew I wanted to try again and that's when the UKCAT people came in and changed my whole application experience. From the very beginning, Dr Akash was so kind and supportive, helping me to find structure and set attainable goals throughout the tedious application process. Whenever I had doubts or concerns he was always there for a chat and helped me persevere. The UCAT was always so daunting to me but with the help of my wonderful tutor Meghan it became a learning process led with support and understanding. There was an excellent balance between self-study through a well crafted work plan and online meetings with Meghan where I had that outlet to express my concerns, ask for help or simply have a friendly chat to help alleviate stress. Meghan was always so lovely and I looked forward to every one of our calls. Right up until the UCAT I had so much guidance, an exam that was once so scary turned into a really positive experience where I was able to obtain the score I wanted. I remember feeling overwhelmed with the idea of interviews, so much content to learn from simply knowing how to properly structure personal questions to understanding NHS hot topics and medical ethics. However, after my first call with my amazing tutor Hitha I knew like the UCAT, this would be a well organised process filled with so much guidance and kindness. Again there was that great balance between independent learning through the study plan while also having weekly online meetings to practice interview questions or discuss any concerns I might have. After every session Hitha would spend the time to give me really well detailed feedback including homework, helping me to find structure and have small goals every week despite the overwhelming nature of interviews. Just like with Meghan, Hitha created such a positive learning environment filled with compassion and empathy. I felt as though I could express personal concerns along with academic ones, helping me to work through my anxieties and become so comfortable and confident with medical school interviews by the end of it. A year later and I have recieved 4/4 interviews and an unconditional offer from my first choice university KCL. The process was difficult, encompassing so many steps, but with the unwavering support and kindess from the team at the UKCAT people my journey to medical school has been so positive. I want to express my utmost gratitude to Dr Akash as well as my tutors Meghan and Hitha for being so wonderful, they were never anything but so understanding and helpful, I couldn't have done it without them!! So yes I would 100000% recommend the UKCAT people to anyone feeling a little lost and in need of some support and guidance during their med school applications.

I had interview tutoring with Rebecca, and it was a great experience! Though I was worried a bit at first as an international applicant, she covered important topics with me, and my performance improved a lot thanks to her feedback and encouragement. I also found her very friendly and supportive, so it definitely helped me to be more confident and mentally prepared. Overall, it was a great experience to learn and be prepared for my interview.

I had tutoring for the UCAT and interviews. My UCAT help was very beneficial as I managed to boost my mock scores and then get above 3000 in the exam. I have had Aparna as my interview tutor and she is amazing, every lesson we cover so much content whiles consolidating previous questions which really helped me for my interviews.

The 1-1 tutoring and medical interview resources were unbelievable and pivotal in my preparation. I had Megan, who was extremely knowledgable and helpful but overall a lovely person who helped grow not just my understanding of what interviewers look for but my confidence. After each of my sessions I felt I had a lot more insight and the feedback she provided was always constructive and beneficial, all of which I took on board and brought into my interviews. If you are preparing for interviews I couldn't recommend The UKCAT People enough, the level of detail and support their services provide are second to none!

Excellent interview tuition. I had a fantastic tutor who tailored our sessions to my needs and the universities I have applied to. She gave me constructive feedback and gave me the confidence I needed to do well in my interviews. The company is easy to use and messaging on whatsaap gives the whole experience a really personal touch.

Dr Akash was extremely helpful as he clearly laid out his recommended plan for preparing for the UCAT. The knowledge I gained from this session I’m sure will help to improve my UCAT score. After every question he drew and wrote out his method as well as asking us how we answered it. Without a doubt, this session is absolutely worth it.

I had Louis for 2 mock interviews and found them really useful. Great variety of questions and even better feedback on how to improve! I had an interview at Exeter 2 days ago and received an offer today so over the moon!

My tutor, Louisa, helped me prep well for my UCAT. She helped me identify my weaknesses and went through questions I knew I often had difficulty with which helped me a lot when it came to the exam. Doctor Gandhi had also spent a lot of time carefully advising me about my university options and helped me strategically pick my choices!! Louisa also helped me prepare for 3 of my medical interviews by going in depth about current hot topics. The online blog also helped me widen my NHS hot topic knowledge which really helped me when giving out my interviews!! And through the UKCAT people’s help, I will be going to my top choice university for medicine!!

Well thought out session with useful tips. Good feedback and broke down the interview into questions and gave ideal answers but kept it flexible.

Hitha was my Ucat tutor for this summer prepping for my Ucat. She really did seem to care about my preparation and assisted me not only inside lessons but also outside advising me what to do and how to schedule my revision leading to me scoring a 3000+ band 2!!

I found out about The UKCAT People quite late in my daughter’s UCAT journey, however, after chatting to Akash, we made a plan and he introduced us to Holly. Holly was a fantastic tutor. You don’t realise until you have a tutor the sort of help that can be gained.
