B&B replaced it without any hesitation despite it being well over three years old and without our being able to produce proof of purchase after that long. Good tools and excellent service.

A shame that an initial packing error had been made, but I was pleased with the customer service to rectify it.

Despite the fact that I could not recall where I originally bought the fork, B&B kindly replaced it under their terms of guarantee. The replacement was delivered to my door within a few days. Very good service, I would say.

United Kingdom | 12 January 2025I inherited my old loppers from my grandfather. They were 50-60 years old. But, the handles were bent and the blades dull. I therefore took the decision to treat myself to replacements from B&B’s National Trust range. Today, I had cause to use them for the first time. The handle snapped in half. On inspection the wood is of low-density and the design sees fastening bolts further weakening the handles. It’s no surprise that this item failed. I’m so dissapointed and now regretting throwing my grandfather’s trusty loppers away. I hope that B&B honour their lifetime warranty and make things right! 13/01/2025 - Update. B&B has responded and we are negotiating a resolution/replacement. Their customer services seems good, however I would recommend avoiding their wooden handled loppers for the reasons stated above. I'll provide further update and may adjust the star rating when we reach a conclusion.

United Kingdom | 07 January 2025The small ground breaker spade is well designed and practical, particularly good for both slicing turf or digging deeper into stonier ground than a straight bladed spade might manage. The shaft of one of ours unfortunately snapped under strain so I put the lifetime guarantee to the test. Burgon & Ball passed that with good grace and great speed. A replacement is on its way and I’m impressed.

I contacted B and B via email and within 3 days the spade had been replaced. Will definitely recommend Burgon and Ball to all my friends. Their service couldn't be faulted.
