United States | 25 November 2024The most important thing about a tour is the guide and Mike was absolutely the best guide in the world. He was so personable and helpful in every way. The second thing of importance is the bus driver and our driver was spectacular! He had some really precarious situations with landslides and fog and we felt safe the entire time.

United States | 24 November 2024My trip to Sicily was amazing…a trip of a lifetime. My only disappointment was the lack of communication. Being a senior citizen and not being computer savvy I would have liked to have received more information in the mail. Our trip to Sicily took 34 hours and completely unacceptable. We flew from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to wait for 9 hours for our departure. I felt it was totally inconsiderate of World Strides to make such arrangements. On the bright side, after finally getting there, the experience was amazing. Everything we did was first class!

United States | 22 November 2024It was really fun and really eye-opening experience to see DC, but the bus ride was very long, and I think a few more rest stops would have been better, but it’s alright. I think one more day would be good so we can relax a bit more on the trip and not cramp everything in 3 days.

United States | 22 November 2024Our only issue was in Philidelphia where our world strides rep would not let us eat lunch saying we didn't have time. Our people had been travelling since 1:30 that morning, and had only had basically a protein bar. We got to Philidelphia at 12:00 and had appoitments at Independance Hall at 2:20. If there was not going to be time to eat, then those appoitments should've been made for later.

United States | 21 November 2024Overall the trip was a great experience for the kids. We saw a lot of amazing sights, historical places and memorials. Our tour guide, Ms. Kate, did a great job of explaining where we were going and trying to give examples that were fun and relatable for the kids. I would say a couple of the places visited we just did not have enough time at though and I would suggest allowing more time, even if it meant adding a day on the trip or something a sit felt like you had to run to get through even a portion if it and could not really things in fully: 1) National Archives, holding our countries most important documents this is a pretty important stop and it was just very very rushed and not a lot if explanation of the importance of this stop was explained. 2) Holocaust museum memorial 3)American history museum whiskey could have been at least 3 hour visit, so much to see here and again so important to our country. 4) Natural History Museum again needs more time and could easily have been a 3-4 hour visit. More selection of food options might be good in the evenings as well to give kids more variety to choose from.

United States | 20 November 2024I had been to DC once before, but going with friends made it a fresh experience.

JACQUELINE KASCHYK
United States | 19 November 2024Our guide, Sally, was knowledgeable and delightful to work with. She thinks of everything! She coordinates visiting all the sites and there is never a dull moment. She was great at engaging the kids and keeping their momentum and enthusiasm for history and learning going the whole trip! We were sad to say goodbye to her at the end of our trip.

United States | 19 November 2024My daughter came home and told me about how beautiful all the sites were. She said the hotel was nice and clean. She's a foodie so she talked to me for over 15 minutes about all the delicious food choices she had! Especially the sushi! Overall, she truly enjoyed herself!!

United States | 19 November 2024I wish more thought had been given to sending students to DC after a Presidential election, that said I am so grateful all went well and there were no issues. She seems to have had a wonderful trip! I appreciate you coordinating, setting up an affordable payment plan and providing transport/lodging so they could have the trip of a lifetime!

United States | 18 November 2024The whole experience was obviously well organized. We saw pretty much everything you could see in D.C., and it was all packed into just 3 days onsite. The breakfast was good. I would like to have had all meals covered for the price of the trip to include the charter bus ride to and from. Also, some of the time at memorials in the evening felt a little rushed. With those things in mind, and considering they were leading a group of 20 (mostly kids), they did great.
