I don’t think this is a good place for serious buyers, it is great for sellers thought. Ostrich ask you for id just to request a viewing (I don’t trust my data being stored and used) and this process won’t guarantee you that the property will be available for purchasing anyway, I found quite a few properties that I could buy but ostrich is for SELLERS to test the market before actually selling.🥲

From my very first initial contact to listing a couple of weeks later, the Ostrich team have provided a no-hype, no pressure, professional sales process. My personal needs were understood and taken into account and the valuation was justified by very relevant hard sales data. I felt completely comfortable listing my home because the process gave me control over time frames and viewings. I love the unfussy website, beautiful photos and the simplicity of the 'blurb' which is free from the usual superlatives. I have bought and sold many houses over the years and I really hope these guys succeed in setting a new standard in estate agency, taking unnecessary heat and excessive costs out of the market. A special mention too to Daisy the photographer who caught the last of the autumn colours on the trees and some unexpected sunshine on a grey and miserable day.

I had a wonderful experience with the state agency. The photographer, Daisy, was incredibly professional and so friendly. She made me feel really comfortable during the shoot. The whole process was smooth and efficient, and I love how the pictures turned out. It was such a nice surprise to receive a gift voucher too. I'm really impressed with this agency and would highly recommend them.

The glowing reviews are all from the pov of sellers but, as a prospective buyer, Ostrich is very disappointing. In order to be "allowed" to view a place, you are forced to give a tentative offer. As a first time buyer, it is hard to know what to offer as you haven't had a chance to see anything. You put a low offer. It's refused. You raise it. Still refused. Just to see a property. A few months pass and you see another one that you would like to view. You offer the asking price and a week later, no one from Ostrich has responded. And this is just to view a property. Would a serious buyer be blacklisted for being nervous about such an opaque process? It has been an incredibly frustrating process dealing with Ostrich. Good luck sellers because I question how many buyers ever see your property.....

Easy experience and lovely photographer.

We have been offered opportunity to list our flat in Islington via a flyer and were very intrigued by the Ostrich concept which really resonated with us - not in a hurry to sell our flat but equally would consider serious offers. We have been pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the entire onboarding experience - the Ostrich team have walked us through the entire proposition and process and took great photos of our property which were then quickly transformed into a premium looking listing. Looking forward to see what Ostrich can do for us but certainly impressed so far.

Really great team and super efficient!

The whole process was effortless (apart from tidying the house, of course). All communications were timely and clear. We had to rearrange their visit very late in the day, which the simply accommodated with ease. Their reps who came round were totally punctual, unfailingly polite and considerate about our property. The process was seamless and they were happy to take time to talk us through the process and the options therein. It really could not have gone smoother.

We had a fantastic experience selling with Ostrich. They were so attentive and helpful and guided us smoothly through a rather stressful period. The fact that they are able to do viewings on a Sunday is also great! I would highly recommend Ostrich.

A very simple process. Friendly people from Ostrich visited my property, took photos and explained the process. A week later they sent through their valuation/ recommended marketing price, as well as a preview of the listing. I've found them helpful by email too, answering any questions I had. So far, so good. I've only just listed, so whether it's effective as a method of selling I cannot yet say.
