United Kingdom | 26 February 2025Very good and trustworthy company. Particularly Cory has helped me find work, been transparent about the nature of each job and the availability of jobs around me. He has given me updates regarding pending jobs and stayed true to his word regarding a manor of things. I’m Very happy with Daniel Owen.

United Kingdom | 26 February 2025I joined Daniel Owen 18 months ago, my work started dieing down and I gave Ryan McGinn a call to see if there was anything available. Within 2 hours he phoned me back saying I have a job and it will last minimum 18 months working with a Tower Crane on Site. I've been on Site 6 months now and I'm impressed with how professional Daniel Owen are and especially Ryan. Without a doubt every Friday he will phone me to see how I'm getting on, if I have any queries he's there at the end of the phone helping me out. (There hasn't been many). If there are any Slingers or Crane Supervisors looking for work I highly recommend them using Daniel Owen as there work is long term.

United Kingdom | 24 February 2025Daniel Owen has provided me with work over the past 8 years since returning the uk after many years of traveling. Karl the agent I have dealt with from the 1st day of sign up has always gone above and beyond to find me the right kind of job in a location close to me. Even after I found permanent work, Karl would still reach to either offer more work or just to check in. Daniel Owen has always dealt with me in a very professional manner and have helped me to find work more suited to my situation. I would highly recommend Daniel Owen if you are looking for work.

United Kingdom | 24 February 2025Where to begin with this lot at this agency. I had worked for Daniel Owen agency for over 10 years, even prior to COVID and the lockdowns. I also worked through both lockdowns during the hight of the pandemic. Not once have I ever been given a pay rise, employee of the month or year. Never did I receive any clothing with Daniel Owens logo on or even a cup for that matter (not that I care about any of these things) I've been to multiple sites of the years. The training academy in Bearwood wokingham where me myself was sent there. The job was 8 months behind and they site managers that were there were a bunch of clueless imbeciles who only cared about grabbing money and playing golf among other things. Two weeks after me being there the job was on track and beginning to look like it being able to finally be handed over.. The managers there was telling the investors the job was finished dispite not even having the floor layed, aluminum track and glass put in and anything that comes after e.i the suspended ceiling. A other job working for R2 development. The client they worked for weren't the issue but R2 themselves. All they cared about was getting more money so they can order things for themselves and steal it from site when everyone else was gone due to zero site security. The site itself was over £500m and was due to be condemned. I joined in February and worked almost everyday as labour because Daniel Owen and R2 were so cheap they couldn't afford to even pay me handyman rates dispute the job having almost no budget. Over the months I did everything there..liaised with all contractors from chippies to plumbers to the forklift driver to the clients themselves working tirelessly to get the job up to scratch which I did. I stayed on site in my van overnight to make sure nothing more was getting stolen which it didn't so I was acting as security as well. Again Daniel Owen don't care and wouldn't hesitate to keep you at bare minimum. These are just two simple examples over the course of a 10+ year span working for these guys. Carl who I would be dealing with is the worst of them all. He must have a problem because he's constantly got the sniffles and tries to to act stupid just to get you to site, for example I was told I was going to a Francis construction site in bracknell (the old BMW warehouse) to help with a delivery but when I arrived it was basically taking care of the entire site. I don't care what work it is but why lie just to get me there. Agencies will always be shady in my opinion but this has to be one of the worst in Britain strictly because of lies and keeping all employees in the dark about payments. I was on a site moving plasterboard with another follow Daniel Owen labour and he was on way less than me doing the exact same job. I could go on all day about these bunch of clueless children acting as if they are a legitimate agency. Look elsewhere if you was an agency that actually take into account your needs and situation and I would only ever recommend this agency for teenagers just leaving school trying to get a small bit of experience for a college course or something but even that's a push. Over 10 years and multiple different jobs completed and when I asked for a pay rise of no more than £1.50. Ryan told me he will push for it on the next job... We all know that's a no and when I said no he simply told me. "Good luck finding another job". Overall these bunch of children have nothing to offer you and treat everybody like they know more than you and act stupid when you question simple things. Again I could go on for days but, just Avoid this shady bunch of clowns.

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025TERRIBLE AGENCY, SIGNED UP WITH THEM 18 MONTHS AGO, NOT 1 JOB OFFER NOT 1 CALL. THEY WAS SO ENTHUSATIC TO SIGN YOU UP JUST TO COLLECT YOUR DATA. THEY HAVE NO REAL INTENTION OF CALLING YOU FOR WORK

United Kingdom | 10 October 2024Maizie Adams and her manager visited our office so that they could meet us and get a better of understanding of what we do and the type of candidate we were looking for. From that moment I never had to chase to Maizie as she tried her utmost to get us suitable candidates. Although we are now no longer looking to recruit, when we do Maizie will be the first person I contact.

United Kingdom | 12 September 2024I have called this company several times over the years and asked to speak with Chloe Yarwood about jobs that I have a applied for which she is allegedly managing. I never receive calls back from her, the staff that answer the phone (which us not very often!) are very unhelpful and always either put you on hold, transfer you elsewhere or simply hang up! If I could give them a 0 out of 10 I would - Absolute disgrace

United Kingdom | 11 September 2024Daniel Owen Limited; Top-notch customer service. Shanice! She’s got a vibe that chills your spirit—purely healing, peaceful, and uplifting. Shanice gets candidates into roles faster than you can say "You're hired!

United Kingdom | 13 August 2024They'll phone you every day and hard sell you on unsuitable candidates. 3/4 employees hired through Daniel Owen did not work out in a very short space of time. One resulted in making threats of violence against staff and property until the police were called. One decided not to show up after taking £150, the other was really nice, we tried to keep him, moved his role to driver after a few weeks. Daniel Owen insist this still counts as chargeable. We paid 80% of the original invoice for 3 candidates and agreed over the phone to waive the rest as we were still looking for another. They weren't able to find a suitable candidate 5 months later and have now renegged on that and threatened legal action. If you want to be hard sold unsuitable candidates via non stop phone calls and then threatened with legal action, Daniel Owen is the agency for you.

United Kingdom | 21 March 2024Great agency! Here's a positive review for Daniel Owen: I had the pleasure of working with Daniel Owen recently, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The team at Daniel Owen are professional, efficient, and extremely helpful I highly recommend Daniel Owen to anyone looking for reliable and top-notch services. The assignments have been great, hours correct, and pay on time. What also helps is their transparency, no hidden fees, and no use of third party umbrella payroll outfits.

United Kingdom | 24 July 2023Never had an issue with this company until i had to deal with a lady called Georgia, she was extremely rude, unprofessional and unwilling to help. She sent me to a job that was far from what I had applied for then spoke to me like dirt when I questioned it. I would personally never work through this person again.

United Kingdom | 23 May 2023Very unprofessional agency, was owed a back log of money, Sophie then paid it to me by increasing my hourly wage to 32£ so my tax was through the roof , instead of paying it as a separate payment, has also mentioned vouchers several times, which is just a dream. Sophie is also clearly over worked and never replies where as Abbie has no clue and is never able to assist, be wary as you have to keep chasing as your pay will continuously be messed up
