On delivery, driver had to be stopped and admonished for driving too fast and too close to my van (1" away!). On first collection attempt, driver claimed skip was overloaded, was told I was on way to remedy situation and would soon arrive but chose to leave site when I was approx 5 mins away. Obvious delay in communication by having to relay through a third party. I was then charged a "wasted journey" fee of £50, paid over the phone by card and asked for but was refused a transaction reference number. Was told would receive receipt/invoice (legal requirement!) by email....still waiting for it. To be fair, the driver who actually collected the skip was a very nice chap. That gives this review one star. Will neither use again nor recommend. Will stick to local companies. Communication is direct and they are cheaper.

Got a large skip from Recycling Lives with no troubles or issues. Wooden planks were placed to protect our drive and the skip was just what we needed. Excellent all round service

Skip arrived when expected and was placed on to my driveway with care and consideration (on to wooden planks to avoid damage). It was collected at my convenience. A stress free experience.

Used them twice now for skips after using another of the charity's services and cannot fault them. Friendly and helpful staff, skips arrived on time and drivers are always lovely. The great thing is that the price was good and some goes to charity! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I needed to hire my skip for a period of two weeks. This was all sorted out and confirmed via email and telephone. The skip was delivered by a courteous driver on the designated day, and a quick phone call once I had finished ensured that the skip was removed at the earliest possible convenience. Everyone I dealt with for the booking was friendly and efficient. The price was comparable and fair for the period of hire. One of the things that did influence my booking was the fact that items would be recycled wherever possible. I would certainly recommend this company through which to hire a skip.

Skip did not arrive on the day (Friday) I asked for it to arrive, I even rang the company at 2.00pm on the day it was going to arrive, I was told it will be delivered, 5.30pm still no skip. Rang them Saturday at 9.00am & was told no one was in that department, Kat was amazing and got me a skip to me that day for midday, but I had to pay another £20 on top on the £270 I paid already. Was not happy with extra cost, but since spoke to the Manager & he refunded me the £20. I felt let down and more frustrated with the phone call on the Friday telling me it would be delivered. Having to take time of work. On the good side Kat was very helpful.

I speak with Skip Hire Network on a daily basis mainly with Thomas Drury and Deena Karia and find the team a delight to deal with, they are all very polite and efficient. I recently hired a skip through this company and I must say, they were excellent! The customer service was brilliant, very polite. They had the skip delivered on the date I asked for, no hassle. And then collected when it was full. I didn't feel ripped off with the price either, I thought I had recieved a very good price and I would deffinatley reccomend them!

I booked a skip a couple of weeks back. The customer service was second to none. They really cared about me and what i needed a skip for and they also found the cheapest in the area for me. Would recommend to anybody that needs a skip! And its a charity!!
