Shekhar is a great person to interact with and talk to about every career-oriented topic, especially graduate school applications. I consulted him during my master's applications, and he concisely explained all the essential steps I had to take, from attempting the GRE and TOEFL to writing SOPs and crafting a winning resume. Before the TOEFL, the references and study materials he suggested proved to be of great help, and I could score a whopping score of 119/120. I still remember when I sent my first SOP draft to Shekhar; it was literally all over the place. Shekhar helped me consolidate it and weave it in a way that would convey my story powerfully and convincingly. He helped me identify areas to improve my writing and place my story better. I was in a cross road when I met Shekhar for the first time. I had completed my bachelor’s and was doing great at my job that paid fairly well! Yet, I had a yearning to grow and explore my career further and thats where my path crossed with Shekhar. I was looking for masters degree abroad and had all the basic doubts that every Indian students have while choosing to pursue masters abroad. I almost started to develop what is called an ‘imposter syndrome’ and thats when Shekhar stepped in, counselled me provided guidance through his experience. Shekhar is the kind of person who doesn't know the word no. He has always helped me look for alternate solutions to problems, not letting me give up.
