We dealt with 2 people with 'the right advice' when considering our mortgage application. We were a complicated case, returning to the UK after 8+ years of ex-pat residency around Europe. Our initial advisor (Beth Garrett) was amazingly helpful, and explored scenarios and lenders really diligently, even though we weren't customers at that time. Then upon returning to the UK we worked with Alex Ashworth (Beth was on Maternity), who was great. Always responded quickly, gave sound, practical advice, and worked quickly so we could complete on time. The whole application to exchange has taken ~2 months, we were first-time buyers returning from abroad and Alex made everything simple to understand and move forward.
