United States | 02 April 2025My time at LUIT was the best time I could have had in my tech career at that point. I was at a crossroads on where to go in my career and tried different avenues before deciding on the cloud. Before joining I had no cloud experience at all outside of studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner in the summer of 2022 and going into the program allowed me to learn skills that I would have otherwise not been familiar with going down this path. I was a tad bit skeptical about the program as I've heard the stories around bootcamps but I saw previous success stories and I took the plunge and I'm glad I did. Level Up In Tech is a legit program that will help your career if you're willing to put in the work if you're new to this side of tech and want to get into tech period. I can only speak to my experience and not others as I learned the skills that have allowed me to excel in the job that I have now. One thing that would help LUIT I think is helping students who are still struggling to land jobs even after the program has ended or offering resources to the students still struggling to pass a certification that would otherwise help them get in the conversation for a possible job opportunity. Overall, Level Up In Tech has helped me and many others land jobs in a competitive field, and given us the skills to provide us with a better life. It is a program that is still growing daily and putting out some of the best tech talent out there led by real tech talent/coaches.

United States | 21 July 2024This program has changed my life. I went from being a full time professional musician to a Cloud Engineer. With two young children, I was looking for a career change that would be more conducive to being home for my family on nights and weekends, in addition to something that paid better. Having taught myself some basic programming concepts, I had found that I started to really enjoy programming and figured that pivoting to something in tech would be something that I could enjoy doing. When I started the program, I really didn't even know what DevOps or Cloud Engineering was, but in 6 months I was doing it. When I went through it, the program covered 5 broad topics: Linux, AWS, Python, Containerization, and Terraform in that order. During my time I earned 3 certifications, and completed close to 20 hands on projects, which we are taught to document on Medium. Hands on projects and documentation are a big part of the program, and this practice of documenting my learning has helped to instill this habit in me to this day, having gone on to complete many more projects since I graduated. In addition to training, the program really encourages skills that are valuable in the real world, such as learning how to find answers yourself, collaborating and bouncing ideas off of peers, as well as just good general practices in tech. Additionally, they teach their students and encourage them to put themselves out there on LinkedIn, discussing strategies to network and optimize profiles, getting more eyes on you from recruiters and other people in the industry. Since I happened to graduate at a time when the job market in tech was pretty bad, it took me awhile to land a job. But I pressed forward, continuing on my journey that Level Up In Tech had launched for me and I'm happy to report that last week I signed an offer at a company I'm very excited to work for. It has been a lot of hard work, late nights, and long hours studying, learning, applying my knowledge to practical projects, and often times getting very frustrated. But nothing in life is easy, and I am happy to report it has all been worth it. In addition to the 6 month course, Level Up In Tech fosters a vibrant community of alumni, and offers career building services to their graduates indefinitely. These include weekly career and development meetings, access to the instructors for any questions and help you may need, job search sites like Prentus, a PODs program in which graduates can work together in a real-life environment to solve more advanced tech problems, company partnership programs for easier access to interviews and potential jobs, as well as new features and sub-programs that are being added all the time; all at no extra cost once you have completed the program. I highly recommend this program for anyone who might be on the fence about a career change into the world of DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

United States | 19 July 2024Level Up In Tech is one of the best cloud training programs in the business. Their strategy of mixing academic knowledge with hands-on experience has produced highly effective engineers directly out of the program. The technical experience and critical thinking skills of their graduates is consistently high. Their leadership has a very acute understanding of what it takes to transition into a modern cloud engineering role; the landscape of tools, best practices, and technology trends is always changing and their curriculum reflects that. I have, and will continue to work with Broadus and his team to hire engineers for our company.

United States | 18 June 2024I began my journey with Level Up In Tech in early 2023. Through LUIT well structured program, weekly coaching calls, collaborative and supportive cohort, it helps me to get outside of my comfort zone and applying myself in a fast paced and challenging curriculum. Recently, I landed my first ideal tech role at a company with great culture. Before Level Up In Tech, I had Zero technical experience and never used LinkedIn. The program's guidance on optimizing my LinkedIn profile, showcasing my certifications, and documenting projects was one of the key to getting noticed by companies. Even after graduating, the ongoing career development support, including resume writing, interview prep, and networking guidance, proved invaluable. To be honest, during my job search process, at times it felt more challenging than the program itself, but with the support LUIT community was one of the key factors in helping me overcome those obstacles and ultimately landed my first technical role. Initially, the cost of the program made me hesitant. I was skeptical until I heard numerous success stories from graduates who landed their first technical role. It resonated with me that everything carries risks and rewards, you get out what you put in. My initial financial investment in this program, couple with my strong motivation the big WHYs pushed me to persevere. There were still times I wanted to quit, but the one on one calls with my coaches helped me overcome self doubts, shout out to William and Kinsey!! The supportive cohort team members and broader LUIT community was a perfect combination. What I also find valuable about the program is learning to be a better problem solver. The coaches does not provide answers, but rather, the program challenges me to become a more effective problem solver. With all that said ,this program is life changing experience for me. Everyone's experience is different, so take this just one perspective.

United States | 13 June 2024They have no instructors! they sell you acloud Guru and Udemy courses !they are #$%^$ overpriced .....the coaches tell the students to watch Udemy! They have nothing of value other than telling you to do cloud projects on AWS... these Guys are a complete sham- Don't say you were not warned.

United States | 10 May 2024Just so anyone reading this can have the full context for what I am about to say, I am a self-taught, 8+ year IT professional who was against boot camps until Level Up In Tech. I can go through the list of reasons why, but to be honest, many of them have a reputation for costing a lot of money while either offering little value or not much more than what you can do for free. I can honestly say this wasn't that. Let's just start with the value, and by value, I mean something I couldn't/wouldn't have been able to do on my own: LinkedIn: LinkedIn is huge in the tech job market. I didn't even have one when I started LUIT, but they gave me the tools and knowledge to optimize my LinkedIn. I could literally track the engagement and traffic improvements to my page as I implemented the strategies and optimizations that I learned in the program. Projects: Through the projects, I could showcase my skills and learning, which helped compensate for my lack of experience in the field. It also gave me a valuable skill in documentation, which was a big plus among hiring managers in interviews. I know I wasn't going to learn that on my own. Order of Learning: As a self-taught person, I didn't realize how the order in which I learned things could make learning easier. But how could I? I'll give you an example. Earlier in the program, we dove deep into Linux and bash scripting. I remember thinking, "This is cool, but this ain't coding. When am I going to learn the real stuff?" I couldn't have been more wrong. By the time we got to Python, it was simple. Mind you, I have tried to learn Python 3 times before. Community: Between the people in my cohort, previous guests, and coaches, I wasn't alone, and I didn't understand the value of that until this program. Being able to run ideas by people or check out fixes for problems that they encountered was huge. Mentorship: I was able to reach out to people who were working in the field for help with coursework and things outside of coursework. It was invaluable during the tough times when I wasn't grasping things as easily or encountered things in the DevOps space that I had no prior experience with. Career and Development Resources: Just when I thought the program was over, LUIT didn't just leave me. There was a C&D program that taught me how to interview for jobs, create a really good resume, negotiate, reach out to recruiters, and so much more. Honestly, that could've been a boot camp within itself. It is something I know I couldn't have replicated on my own without a lot of trial and error Was it hard? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Level Up In Tech gave me the tools to land a job as a Cloud DevOps Engineer. I had interviews within a month of my graduation. No boot camp or college, for that matter, can guarantee a job, but this program gave me a seat at the table in a really tough job market. I humbly admit that I couldn't have done this on my own. I was wrong, and not all boot camps are scams.

United States | 09 May 2024Truly a great program that has helped me a lot in the Technology industry, I came from a none IT background now I’’m doing what haven’t been able to do before and I’m truly great full for the LUIT for giving people like us such a opportunity!

United States | 08 May 2024Thanks to Level Up In Tech, I managed to transition from History professor with no tech background to a Junior DevOps Engineer role in less than a year. There are a lot of resources out there that one could use, through trial and error, to learn what you learn through LUIT. However, to do it effectively, efficiently, and with the appropriate support to get that new job... that is another matter altogether. And that is what you get with LUIT. LUIT provides: * access to a well-cultivated variety of hands-on learning resources * a system of accountability, regular coaching, group participation, and troubleshooting assistance * access to coaches and mentors who currently work in the fields into which you are trying to gain access * essential certifications * networking support * post-graduation mentoring, resume-building, enhanced skill-development, and interview prep until you that new job. In all honesty, before I started the program, I questioned the price. However, as I came to see what was being provided, I was astonished at the value. It is a well-articulated and supportive program, and by far the best investment I've ever made in myself.

United States | 08 April 2024Level Up in Tech provided a truly hands-on experience in gaining applicable knowledge for real work problems. The coaches are amazing and help you every step of the way while also ensuring you have the space to figure things out on your own as well. I will say for interviews, I was over-prepped for anything that was thrown my way and the interview panels have been surprised I had the depth of knowledge I did after only 6 months. If you are thinking of changing careers, I can't recommend this program enough...and yes, I have landed a job in this field after 7 years in HR!!!

United States | 19 March 2024This program helped me successfully transition from healthcare to tech, in just 6 months. The program not only teaches you the foundations of various DevOps tools, but also how to build connections with tech companies and recruiters. LUIT's resume and career coaching was invaluable in helping my find my first tech role. Everyday, I utilize the skills I learned in LUIT's program, and I know I would not be where I am today without them.

United States | 14 March 2024I started my tech journey with Level Up in Tech with zero technical knowledge! I came in with an HR background, but had seen how the ecosystem at my current employer had shifted more towards data and technology. I was able to learn multiple coding languages and received certifications along the way. I am proud to say that I have transitioned within my company to a process manager role supporting card technology! This would have never been possible without the training and knowledge I received during the program! I was specifically told that my training and technical knowledge is what put me above the rest of the candidates! If you would have told me a year ago this was possible, I wouldn't believe it, but DEFINITELY is!

United States | 13 March 2024Level Up In Tech made it possible for me to switch careers. I was a nurse and was able to transition to a role in the technology field as a DevOps engineer. This would not have been possible without their training and guidance. The coaches throughout the program were very knowledgeable and really wanted you to succeed! I learned so much in such a short amount of time. They helped us take that knowledge and use it in real world scenarios in the form of projects. I feel this was what really cemented are understanding of the material and made it possible for me to land the role I am in. Throughout the program I had my doubts; in myself and the program. It really pushes you out of your comfort zone so you can grow. I truly owe them this new life that I have where I can work from home, make good money, and be a part of my kids' lives. So, thank you Level Up In Tech! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to put in the work to change their life.

United States | 12 March 2024I actually have never needed a LinkedIn in any of my careers but I saw information about getting into tech with little experience from Instagram so I joined LinkedIn and that’s when I kept seeing Level Up In Tech everywhere. Every other post I would see was someone celebrating another win, whether it be a certification or a six-figure job and I just knew I couldn’t ignore it and I had to join. Why wouldn’t I join a winning team? It only made sense. I believed I could have the same success when I saw stories like Kinsey going from no experience being an entrepreneur running an Etsy shop to Devops Engineer. To be successful you HAVE TO LISTEN. You may think something is insignificant or it doesn’t make a big difference but it does! Everything that the coaches tell you to do, you need to do it and even do it times two. I had absolutely zero experience and I was driving a tractor-trailer while doing all of my work! If you want something you have to put in the work to do it and you have to make the time to go get the things that you want. In this job market they also teach you how to market and brand yourself, which is a huge part of landing your next career. Being introverted, I didn’t really want to be on display on LinkedIn, but I wanted the success and I did what they told me to do and it paid off. The saying goes “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink”. Level Up in Tech gives you the keys, but you have to do the work, your success is ultimately up to you!

United States | 08 March 2024LUIT truly stood out as a fantastic program that pushed my limits and got me tech-career ready. There were evenings when the last thing I wanted was to sit down and work on a project or lab, but my coaches were right there, keeping me motivated and on track. I’m so thankful for their endless support and guidance through every hurdle, helping me build a solid portfolio and sharpen my skills for the job market. United States | 07 March 2024Level up in Tech helped me transition from a teacher to a cloud engineer. The program isn’t easy but if you stick to the plan and follow the coaches guidance and advice you will succeed. The support during the program, during the job search and continued advice through the negotiation process was priceless. LUITs coaches are kind, smart and truly want to see you succeed.

United States | 07 March 2024Life changing. At first like most I was skeptical. Tough decision when you don’t have the money to invest, but it was worth it! Not only did I gain the technical skills to change the life of my family but I also developed the soft skills needed to access the opportunities to showcase what I have learned. Level Up In Tech showed me the way but you have to trust the process and APPLY what your learning in order to be successful!

United States | 06 March 2024The Instructors at Level Up in Tech are outstanding. I've had previously been trying to break into Tech for years unsuccesfully, trying different vocational/tech schools- I've never been a part of something so impactful such as Level Up in Tech's program. They provided me the skillset needed to succeed in my career in Cloud. When I say LUIT has changed my life- it's not a cliche' feel good story-it's real. I had a job offer towards by the end of the program and have been there for over a year. It wouldn't have happened without Level Up in Tech.
