About Dr. Levent Bakisgan

I was born in 1973 in Germany. I attended primary school, secondary school, high school and university in Istanbul. I entered Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and graduated in 1997. Then I started General Surgery specialization and became a General Surgery Specialist in 2003. In my professional life, I have gained experience in various hospitals including University hospitals, State Hospitals and Private hospitals. In addition to performing all surgeries in my field, my interest in Bariatric surgeries has increased due to increasing obesity in recent years. For this reason, obesity-related sleeve gastrectomy, gastric balloon and botox are within my special interest. I am currently working in my own clinic in İstanbul, Osmanbey. With 27 years of experience of more than 100.00 patients, thousands of obesity surgeries and gastric balloons, the satisfaction of the patients we have slimmed down is one of the most important features that distinguish us from other health institutions. In 2022, I became an accredited doctor with the authority to care for foreign patients with the International Health Tourism Certificate I received. In addition, with the dietician and psychologist in our team, we can follow our patients very closely for at least 6 months after the procedure. Since our only job is obesity, you get a boutique patient follow-up program experience far beyond the service you will receive from hospitals.
