United Kingdom | 25 October 2024During car diagnostics for power steering, I was advised that front wishbone bushes were also an urgent repair. I had work done on front coils 2 months ago for an MOT pass. I declined the bushes, and took the car to my local garage for an explanation. They showed me underneath the car, where the bushes are actually fine. An already stressful situation was made worse by whatever this was.

United Kingdom | 11 July 2016My car developed a new fault after being repaired by Unit 18 Automotive. My communications to try and resolve the matter were ignored and I ended up taking my car to another garage who found that Unit18 had fitted parts to the wrong sides of the car and that the parts were different specifications so could not just be swapped over to the correct sides. If you're looking for a competent and honest garage in Blakelands Milton Keynes then I would steer clear of Unit 18. Edit August 2018: Unit18 reported this review to TrustPilot because it had the name of the business owner in it. The name of the owner (initials AD) is in the public domain and easy to find anyway.
