I’ve been placed on lots of projects by John Himsworth(owner) and I have always been paid . If my money has been a issue John authorise a payment the same day. They use orbital payroll for payments and they text on a Wednesday, so if the clients PM has made a mistake it leaves time to rectify. Mistakes are few and far between. I was shocked to see any bad reviews, John will have a hundred + people on projects he always calls once a week to make sure I’m ok. And he does this for everyone. I would say in most cases a bad review for JAVA is someone not doing their job and the client PM/SM not signing hours off. Worked with JAVA since 2018 and still getting work from them now.

The owner John Himsworth is a scammer. Worked through his agency for 2 weeks & they didn’t pay me for the 2nd week. Im currently chasing through legal routes but this is the first time ive ever experienced something like this. His company java recruitment should be shut down. Ive tried to contact John through numerous ways but ive been ignored every time. highly recommend to avoid

Java Recruitment would indeed appear to be a scam company and I have now reported them to CV Library. They advertise jobs and liet a mobile number and in this case it is 07887 502900, when you call they send you a text message saying "Text Me", no proffesional recruiter does this and when you sent a text they never reply and no return call, indeed a scam company.

I guess this is not a real company. They're just using Ponzi Scheme for hiring. I cannot believe this company has this many employees. I had calls messages from at least 5 different people. They ask weird questions like company cars, BMW's Audi's. All scripted. Then nothing happens.

Just another scam recruitment agency. They call you to ask you for your cv for this perfect job opportunity. What they don't tell you is that their colleagues will start spamming you with unsolicited calls and emails the moment you do. Be aware...

They don't deserve even one star!!! They are so unprofessional. I am disgusted by the man that I had the interview with, he told me I can't get the job because of my "foreign accent"! I never felt so discriminated and humiliated against. He didn't even let me speak more than 30 sec before he decided that he couldn't understand me. What I don't understand is why i was pressed so hard to come for this interview in the first place; I was assured that I was a suitable candidate. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

The interview process was dodgy. Had a girl call me and I specifically said I don’t want cold calling and I was reassured no no no we don’t do that at all no way. I applied for a job they were advertising but they wanted to hire me to work for them. So I was happy went to the interview. Left early !!! and I’d been there for 2 hours. Made me do 4 free online IQ tests. Looked down at my feet and there were broken pens. The conditions were dirty and messy. One guy who interviewed me wouldn’t stop telling me how money motivated he is. They are self indulgent selfish people who care for no one else. They lied to me on the phone and then in the interview I get told. Cold calling definitley, the day is 8-6:30 but the boss expects you to stay later and you don’t get breaks because you are too busy. I could go on all day about how awful this whole experience was. LONDON WANNABES BASED IN SOUTHEND. AVOID

Very well informed headhunters. The hiring process was well-managed; cannot fault whatsoever

I received 4(!!!) recruitment messages by Elliot Bigden and Michael Oseyemi today from your "company" trying to recruit me (running my own (co-)owned company...). This is not recruitment, it is harassment. Shame on them! My profile CLEARLY states "No recruitment" and I had warned Elliot earlier today and then came along Michael sending me 3 different invitations / recruitment attempts. This kind of recruiters make me sick and are the *exact* reason why people hate recruiters. It's this kind of rats and lowlifes!

A recruiter from java-recruitment.com allowed himself to contact a lot of developers on our behalf, without having made any kind of agreement with us, claiming that we would pay salaries that are much higher than what we normally pay. Even worse, this guy actually contacted some of our own developers, basically offering them their own job for a much higher salary. Completely insane! My advice is never to do business with java-recruitment.com / JPeople.
