The staff and the food made our experience on this night for the festive jazz evening, unfortunately the band singer put a dampener on the evenings live entertainment music, as he just could not sing, we were only disappointed in the fact that it was held on the deck level and not in the ocean suite as it was initially advertised for. However, big shout out to Jimi and all the staff for making the evening fantastic.

We had a great time. The food and tribute act were great. The booking could have been smoother and service faster. The staff were friendly ad welcoming.

Great night, well organised, food was was very good, very festive. Act was entertaining, might have been an idea to have a festive disco for when Buble had finished his set but all in all a great night.

Not enough staff to manage the event. Service was extremely slow and the hot food was barely warm when it was served. There were no staff on the bar while the food was served. I waited 10 minutes for a member of staff, the bar was covered with dirty glasses and no clean ones were available. So i had to wait again while the barstaff went to find one. The food wasn't great, prawn cocktail had hardly any prawns and xmas dinner had only 1 slice of turkey. The lighting was too dim and so it was hard to make out what was on the plate. Overall, very poor value at £40 a head

The food and entertainment were great, the only slight drawback was the delay between each course which was rather long

My daughter broke her arm badly in the soft play area. The area isn't supervised at all and children are able to get away without observing the rules. My daughter was in agony after sustaining an injury to her arm, screaming, yet the staff didn't even approach to ask if everything was OK or could they assist with anything. They let us out of the barrier without question. I contacted the management team at Ocean Exmouth to inform them of the accident to ensure they had met their own health & safety requirements and recorded the incident in line with required regulations. I was met with disinterest, disbelief and no compassion for my daughter's welfare. To date, I don't think they have recorded this incident in their accident book. I have chased their management team on numerous occasions (by telephone and email) but nobody is responding. Having attended other soft play centres, staff have been very attentive and will use a tannoy system to remind children who are breaking the rules not to do so. Yes, parents are expected to supervise their children but the staff have a duty of care to ensure the rules are maintained for health and safety reasons. I am shocked and appalled at the lack of response from an organisation where a 5 year old child sustained such a serious injury on their premises.
