An excellent service from Garrett. He completed an extremely thorough full Building Survey Report post the initial lockdown period. He was more than amenable in accommodating us when most other Surveyors simply refused given the size of the property. The report was detailed with good images of all aspects. Garret was really helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to fit us in quite quickly and communicated with us well on the day of the survey and after the report was delivered.

I emailed Garrett and Urban Surveyors after reading some very good reviews. He gave a very competitive quote for a Level 2 Homebuyers Report and a reasonable approximate survey date considering the current market situation. The team in fact got the survey appointment fixed earlier than promised and Garrett gave me a verbal update the very next day and was happy to discuss the main points and his recommendations. His detailed report was quite informative with pictures and was available within 5 working days. Overall excellent service with great communication. Would have liked a valuation report that many surveyors offer along with a Level 2 Homebuyers survey. But he had previously informed me that he does not do valuations.

Spent quite some time looking for surveyors before committing to a surveyor and so glad we went with Garrett. His quote was not the absolute cheapest but was certainly reasonably priced and I had confidence from his previous reviews. He was efficient at booking in directly through our estate agents and let us know when a date had been agreed. After the survey he called to give us a verbal review of what he'd found - this was still quite detailed given it was just a precursor to a written report. The report was provided within a couple of days and was very thorough - I had a few queries a week later about specific recommendations made and Garrett remembered the house well and explained things in enough detail for me to understand and make my own judgement. Have already recommended Garrett to friends who are in the process of buying a house.

We are first time buyers and were recommended urban surveyors by a friend who had just recently bought his first home too. We dealt with Garrett. He was extremely friendly and reliable. He talked us though everything step-by-step. A full report was issued within the week and Garrett even gives you a courtesy call the following day to give you an informal verbal report of the property so that we remained in the loop. I engaged Urban Surveyors for a Building Survey. The work was carried out promptly and I received a carefully prepared comprehensive report a few days later. The surveyor was happy to field a number of follow up questions which was really helpful.

The company carried out a thorough inspection of the property and provided us with a detailed, informative and well laid out report on their findings. We are now much more knowledgeable about the property and are in a position to make more informed, confident decisions about it. All said, the service we received was of a very high standard and superseded the amount charged.

I called Garret initially because of all the fantastic reviews about his services and I was extremely happy to find out they were all correct! He provided us with a thorough level 3 building survey at a very reasonable price and was excellent at staying in communication throughout, replying to emails very promptly. He was also very happy to take calls and answer any questions we had both prior to and after the survey. In addition to this he was able to carry the survey out only a few days after our initial phone call which helps speed up the whole house buying process greatly. The written report was sent out to us within 3 days! I will definitely be recommending Garret to family and friends in the future.
