Ordered Meindl Boa GTX boots and Sorbothane Double Strike insoles. Received a confirmation email a day later, and boots arrived three days later. However, also received an email saying that the insoles were out of stock, and that they would give me Sorbothane Pro insoles instead if i wished so (which are roughly the same price). I agreed and the insoles arrived a few days later. Overall positive experience, although website should be updated about stock to avoid situations like this in the future. Thanks to Andy.

So. Very. Confused. Bought a pair of boots on the website - Got an email from 'Frog Island Sports' - not Polimil... Expected delivery between 3-5 days (as it said).. It's now 8 days later. But just had an email from DPD but about a delivery from 'Hockey Factory Shop'... saying that my delivery will arrive on Monday 20th. Don't think this is particularly helpful to customers! Maybe a good idea to have one outward facing brand?!

International buyer here(Canada). The reviews on this site gave me pause as Polimil had a number of recent bad reviews. I decided to fire off an email to them to see what the issues were (and knowing sometimes dissatisfied customers have a tendency to over react). My email was responded to in under 24 hours. They not only expertly answered the questions I had about Lowa boots but also about the previous communication issues they were having. I've sent a few emails back and forth regarding my intended purchase and all emails were responded to quite quickly. I went ahead and made a $300 purchase from them and will be doing so again in the future for a second pair. Confident sending my friends and peers to their site as well.

Ordered items on express delivery. The items have not arrived. No contact from company and the phone lines closed during customer service hours. This is an update.. I did manage to contact customer services after 10 am and a refund was agreed. I received two emails offering an apology and a discount for future orders. The refund was applied within 24 hrs. The site will be updated to give the times when customers can call. This case seems to be one of missed communications.. I didn't receive an email stating that items were out of stock, I couldn't reach the company when I called and an earlier email from me was not responded to. But all the right steps have been taken to correct this now.

I am surprised credit card companies are still processing transactions for Polmil.co.uk. Polmil.co.uk simply takes your money, and forgets all about you, emails are left unanswered and a telephone number that runs a recording telling you they are closed. Avoid at all cost, you have been warned. My next stop is calling my credit card company to report Polmil.co.uk as an online fraud.

I placed an order in August they were quick to take my money but have failed to send the goods despite it now being September. They refuse to respond to any attempts to contact them via email when you try and phone them the phone is not answered even within the limited hours they are supposed to operate.

Utterly useless. Bought some Medium gloves which were nearer XXXS and tried to exchange them for a different size; forget it. They'll completely ignore you for weeks if not forever!? So off to my credit card company I go!

Ordered a pair of Oakley sun gigs on July 30th, and never received an email confirmation, waited a few days and phoned customer service (got the number from a website that wasn't polimil, as their website was email only) was told that an email had been sent telling me of a few days delay, the email wasn't sent ( spam also checked) and now 2 weeks on guess what? No sun gigs, no email, no explanation, holding my breath as we speak......

Excellent service from start to finish. As an ex-forces veteran, i wish i had of found out about polimil when i was serving! Cracking bit of kit, swift delivery, good packaging. Will definately use again and so will my friends & family. I am constantly spreading the good news. Polimil has loads of good kit. They will kit out my camping expeds for sure!

Ordered a set of Oakley ballistic glasses Monday night. They arrived on my doorstep Thursday morning. In Denmark. And at a very competitive price even compared to US web prices according to my investigation. Star No. 5 is for that last bit of perfection. Apparently government advice suggest I should note I am participating in a prize draw at Polimil.

A batch of individually printed t shirts ordered with the help of Andy, who was extremely helpful and flexible during the design process. The order was then split for a number of delivery locations and sent out by Polimil free of charge. I don't imagine many companies offering that level of service. I have worn and washed my t shirt numerous times and I have no issue with the quality. I'd be happy to use Polimil again.

Great customer service from Ben. I placed my order at the weekend and I was contacted on Monday to say that the item was out of stock, I was offered an alternate product instead however I was not too concerned with the wait. Got the item within two days when it was available and it was the cheapest price on the market. I'd recommend these guys any day and will use them again. Thanks Andy

I recently placed an order for Lowa Boots after initially enquiring over email. I was promptly phoned by a colleague called Joel who was very helpful and answered my questions and concerns thoroughly and was very informative. He also went out of his way to ensure the product was delivered efficiently, especially due to my short deadline, in which he accommodated. I couldn't recommend him and the company highly enough. I will definitely be using polimil for future purchases. Thank you again Joel.

Hi, just a quick email to say thanks for a good customer service, I am a frequent user of polimil with no problems all orders arrive on time ang are top quality. However on this occasion my order of bates tactical boots were out of stock, I was sent an email explaining what was wrong with the order and also was attached a hyper link to similar products that could possibly meet my requirements. I quickly phoned polimil and spoke to Ben Storer Who quickly processed my order and a refund was back in my account within half hour plus sent them next day delivery as a good will gesture. I have worked in the emergency services for over 15 years and as such have ordered boots from several companies. I have to say Polmil have been the best by far. The boots I ordered were out of stock. Ben at Pilmil soon emailed me with alternative options and even though the alternative boots were slightly more expensive, dispatched them to me with no extra cost. His customer service has been prompt polite and efficient. I will becoming back to Polmil next time I need new boots or kit. Thanks

I bought a pair of boots which had just come off sale and they had no stock left in my size so they offered an alternative size, which unfortunately wouldn't fit. Whilst waiting for new stock (approx 7days) they emailed me with regular updates and sent my boots out with free 48 hour delivery

Had problems ordering thru the account I set up so decided to call Polimil. Very helpful staff, so I made the order over the phone. Boots arrived within 5 working days and I couldn't be happier with them. Have made a couple of orders thru Polimil now and each time received a free Swat pouch. Please don't send anymore with future orders, 2 is more than enough. Will be ordering more items thru Polimil, impressed with the service but not with the online ordering.

Polmil state on there website that items are in stock. This is false as they are not. My order still had to come from the supplier. Furthermore could not even ensure other items were sent as per original order. Awful experience matched with awful customer service!
