Am very happy and cannot find fault! I have had a host of bad and horror experiences with other internet service providers. Sometimes the connection was okay (not brilliant but okay) but often the customer service was lacking... sometimes both were lacking. So, when my last ISP upped their prices significantly, I went spoke again to Launtel. Every time I've engaged with their customer service team, they have worked to assist me, to understand and provide assistance. The most recent contact was not actually technically their job (the connection was brilliant, I just couldn't get my laptop to work!) yet, the gentleman that assisted, like all those before, still assisted me (and it was actually an easy fix). They are not patronising, they don't get frustrated and they don't speak to you like you're an idiot! Yet neither do they only have limited knowledge, as they truly understand the product and systems required for to effectively use the internet. On one day, my neurological issues were causing me a struggle and a lovely new lady hadn't undertaken the issue I was having setting up a payment (which worked perfectly once set up by the way) and I explained that I could see she was trying to help, she hadn't done anything wrong but could she transfer me to someone who knew about this aspect of the platform. Instead of taking offense as so many others do or delaying a transfer, she said, "Yes, of course I can!" with no hint of annoyance towards me. The next lady was able to give me the instructions and it was sorted in about 3 minutes. I consistently have had excellent customer service and unlike all prior ISP's, I have had NO issues with connection speed! Given I had come from one of the "big three" telco's and they were registering speeds that meant you actually couldn't do anything (as my mother who's an IT expert said, "that's like burying a line in antarctica and expecting it to do something!"). I like how they "bill" people, it's essentially a type of prepay, however, you control your payments. Plus if you go on holiday or like me, perhaps end up in hospital, you can pause your connection and you don't pay for that day (as long as you remember to actually pause it!). Which is great because you're not paying for what you're not using. Am truly very thankful. Also note: Their business tech support is available 24/7 whereas residential is 8am-10pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday. But know, often smaller providers, have the same or LESS technical support. Even Optus and Telstra are limited after approximately 8pm. They do have their app, but the assistance you'll get after these hours depends a lot on the person "assisting". So in my opinion, the support hours that Launtel offers are still brilliant and helpful. As things stand, I would highly recommend this service.

I recently wrote a review that was was 1 star for Launtel. It was written out of pure frustration due to an automated NBN response. That response was Rejecected. Reason being is that the NBN fibre is built on a passive system meaning if you already have a MAXED out connection, an new ISP cannot do an automatic connection. Hence the Rejection. So I must apologise to Launtel and all of their staff. I was WRONG in my review. To NBN, pick up your game!! To Damien, Lachie, Olivia, Alpha and Justin.I am sorry Cheers for the awesome service :-)

Launtel have been always been very honest and helpful. I connected their service to my new house prior to using it, they called me when I hadn't use the service in 3 days to make sure everything was fine and indicated that I could put the service in standby mode for a fraction of the cost. They didn't need to do this to save my money. They have a 1 time fee for a global IP that is refunded if you return the address. You can take your IP if you want to change providers. They allow you to keep old rates, if the new rates aren't cheaper. You can change your speed/cost by the day. Couldn't recommend them more.

The only provider I know of that allows me to turn internet on and off each day. Perfect for a holiday house.

I get 980/48 mbps so I'm very happy with them. Signup couldn't be easier and the free 7 day trial is fantastic. Even though we can change our max speed on a daily basis I don't really see the point. The slower speeds aren't that much cheaper but I guess it may be useful for someone.

I've just ported to Launtel after experiencing extremely slow downloads and uploads with Telstra. This is, unfortunately, and despite all Launtel's wonderful self-promotions of how their service beats all other ISPs in Australia, simply not the case. In fact, sometimes Launtel's speeds are worse than Telstra's—if that's at all possible! I'm guessing the company just doesn't purchase enough bandwidth, and/or has no peak period overhead. It could also be throttling my service, although I'm sure they'd hotly deny both claims.    EDIT: I have this morning (17/12) received an email from Launtel blaming the NBN Co for "dragging their feet" and not completing the transition. However, this transaction is between me and Launtel (as the merchant), and not between me and the NBN Co. This excuse is used far too often by ISPs, and in fact was used several times by my previous ISP. It prompts the question as to why Launtel (and other ISPs) seem unable and/or unwilling to press the NBN Co to respond to consumer complaints such as mine. Still not good enough.

Wow….just left Mate glad l did better, service, support and speeds have been excellent. Took me all of 3 minutes to change over. Had challenge due to my technical disability, their technical guy was fantastic l am over fifty technically challenged he had me up and running within 5 minutes or actually less. Very impressed and love the flexibility to choose my speeds. Excellent bang for bucks. Will recommend family and friends. Thank you for a great service and customer experience it was refreshing.

Quick easy setup, performance better than advertised, friendly & helpful (knowledgeable) staff. Really glad I switched to Launtel and my internet connection is great. I already had my own router (or launtel can sell you one) and the blck nbn box was already at the house, i was connected in just 8 minutes. You can try out different speed plans during the free 7-day trial. The different approach to billing (put credit in your account and then be charged at whatever speed you've chosen works great and is a nice bit of freedom. you're not locked in at any time and can switch to a faster tier for a day and then change back to a lower cost lower speed just as easily. Very pleased & highly recommend them :)

Poor customer management: I reduced 2 stars. I came back from a trip and my internet was off because my recharg was overdue 24h. now they can’t make it work.

I have been with them over a year and am very happy with the service. Their customer support was always very helpful and available, the online chat enabled them to take screenshots of what I needed to do which helped considerably! The speed was always at the max of what I paid for, and any rare temp shut-downs where communicated in advance via email and where always at convenient times. Being able to quickly change the internet speed when needed was awesome too. Unfortunatally as I was only using the lowest speed, it's not efficient for the price, so I had to switch providers for a cheaper option.

I've been with quite a few ISPs over the years, they are happy to take your money and lock you into contracts but when it comes to supporting you, it's like pulling teeth.. can't get in contact with them or it's too difficult. But Launtel is more than happy to help! They keep you informed regarding faults, customer service is very friendly, they give you an awesome control panel, daily billing, able to use the speed anytime of the day.. they even give you a 7 day trial to make sure you're happy before spending any money! The best ISP in Australia in my experience. Very happy.

I love Launtel. It's by far one of the top 3 RSP's in Australia. I get perfect speeds (54.7mbps all day on 50/20 plan), I get the best latency anywhere of any provider, and I can speak or email Australians for support who respond quickly and helpfully. Expensive but worth it! Signing up can take as little as 5 minutes and at most a few hours. Very simple to change plans, leave, join, 7 day free trial, referral system, it's just fantastic!

My work colleague uses Launtel as for his home internet and he happy with the service. I then check Google Reviews of Launtel and found many positive comments, so I have it a go by switching to Launtel from my old provider of many years. Before switching I check my internet speed (using fast.com) is was 2 or 3 Mbps, now with Launtel it shows 41Mbps (using 50/20Mbps option). I'm very happy with it for now. It took less than 10 minutes to switch over after a few clicks on Launtel webpage.

I've been with Launtel for several months, since NBN was connected at my place. I did a lot of research into NBN providers prior to NBN becoming available. I never once came across a review of Launtel that was less than glowing. The service is impeccable. I am so glad the help desk is in Australia. Recently a branch fell across the line in. Launtel answered the phone within three rings. Problem explained, NBN booked for a repair, which was completed a day and a half later. Launtel then rang to check everything was OK. Trying getting service like that out of Telstra. I could get internet cheaper but I'm prepared to pay a little extra to get top service when it's needed.
