United Kingdom | 08 March 2022I have an Eastbrook Andelle wc, cistern and soft close seat installed. After a very short while the soft close hinges failed to hold the seat adequately. Tried to order spare hinges but they're apparently not available so it's £60 plus for a new seat or just put up with it. Great customer service eh?!

United Kingdom | 22 February 2022Although I haven't used this company for several years, it mght be useful to recount my experience. I bought lots of stuff from Eastbrook for several years without major issues. I retired from the plumbing trade about 8 years ago and one of my last jobs was installing a shower, basin and wc in a small retirement bungalow. The corner pivot door enclosure was on a rectangular tray and used an extension panel to complete the fix. It was flimsy from the start and became unusable after 6 months. The panels flexed, the door sagged, the seals failed. As with many reviewers, the response from the sales department was abysmal. Every excuse under the sun was trotted out, but the reality was that the product was expensive tat. They sent an 'engineer', twice. Each time he actively sought out irrelevant out-of-true walls and tray, and refused to acknowledge that the enclosure was flimsy and poor quality. The door seal failure was apparently caused by my customer holding on to it too much when entering the shower. Eventually the merchant from whom I bought the items became involved and I received a refund. But what a farce. The woman who fended off my phone call requests for assistance was wholly unpleasant. Perhaps she is still working at the same job. Beware! My advice is buy elsewhere.

United Kingdom | 09 December 2021Do not buy an aluminium panel radiator from this company when heating up it sounds as though it is being hit with a hammer, when contacted Kyleigh explained that this was perfectly normal as it expands when hot water is run through it really!! they were totally disinterested and offered no resolution.

United Kingdom | 04 November 2021Appalling company to deal with. Bath delivery was arranged for a Friday, no bath turned up, no call from Eastbrook to tell me so I waited in all day for nothing. Delivery driver turned up Monday morning out of the blue (very lucky to catch me in). Speaking to the driver, turns out he had picked up the bath at 04:00 that morning, so no doubt someone new it wasn't coming on Friday and there was another cock-up on the same delivery run that day. Left a voicemail over the weekend, but still no call from Eastbrook so I called them - obstructive attitude to say the least. Still no call back - NEVER again. If you take my advice you'll check with your bathroom retailer to make sure they don't use these morons for delivery!!

United Kingdom | 10 August 2021Bought three shower valves through our local bathroom supply company. All three started to fail within a few weeks of installation. Eastbrook tried to blame our installer - a local plumber with an excellent reputation. As they would not deal with us directly our installer and supplier had to fight with them for a solution. Eventually got them to send out an engineer who basically confirmed they were not working but was unable to give a satisfactory explanation. Every excuse given did not stack up. Eventually got three new valves sent out but not confident they will last. The product is poor quality. Be very wary.

United Kingdom | 13 April 2021As a branch manager for a successful independent plumbing and heating merchant with a prosperous bathroom showroom. I am in the fortunate position to display and endorse any brand as I see fit too as my management believes I know my clientele the best. If all of of our other supply chains were as supportive, efficient and willing to see us succeed as much as the Eastbrook bathroom Co. then my working day would be simple. From their motivated and sincere company representative to their compassionate and polite telephone sales team and after sales service through to the efficient in house delivery service delivering in their own transport three times a week to Cornwall, which is something special compared to what we are used to in the south west. Not to forget their wide and varied range of product which offers an immense selection to cater for a wide range of budget. I have read reviews of personal experiences reflecting this company on occasion in a bad light. I have personally dealt with this firm for the last fifteen years. Has everything always been 100% A1 the first time, no. But it is rare, with an eagerness to put things right, which is how you SHOULD judge and rate a company.

United Kingdom | 07 April 2021Some years ago I purchased goods from Eastbrook for my 2 bathrooms and cloakroom from a local retailer, who have since ceased trading. On the basin tap in the cloakroom there is a plastic washer that holds the top of the mono mini tap secured. This has broken. I emailed Eastbrook and got a short and shrift reply saying they do not hold spares for the tap. I telephoned them and the assistant told me the same story and that I should go to the administrator for the company that had ceased trading. I asked could they not contact the manufacturer of the tap on my behalf for a washer. I got no response. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that they were busy and that it would not be the same day. I am still waiting for a call from them. Awful customer service

United Kingdom | 06 April 2021This company is a complete nightmare. They have used ever excuse in the book to fob me off. Promising me parts since December 2020. I have had a leaking shower since August/September last year. They sent the wrong parts out, then sent different parts of a different make of shower. They have used the excuse because of the pandemic and Brexit not being able to get the parts. It turns out that my shower has been modified with new parts that do not fit my shower. I was told I had hard water which has caused the problems? How could they possible have any idea of my water?? My water is in a soft area Also, that I should have my shower serviced every year by a plumber. The plumbers I have spoken to have never heard of this statement and had a good laugh. STAY WELL CLEAR OF GETTING ANY OF YOUR GOODS AND PLUMBING MATERIALS FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY RETAIL THROUGH MANY TRADERS. SO CHECK WITH THE TRADER TO SEE WHO IS SUPPLYING YOUR GOODS THROUGH. BE WARNED

United Kingdom | 16 March 2021I have used Eastbrook products for many years, spending thousands of pounds each year for my customers bathrooms. Eastbrook products have become expensive and poor quality, you would expect for the price that their products last more than 2/3 years but they don't. I have customers form 10 years ago that the products look like new, but this is no longer the case. I am now looking for other suppliers that are better quality. If you are thinking of buying Eastbrook products. DON'T.

United Kingdom | 10 December 2020Please do not buy Eastbrooks bathroom panels as they are not fit for purpose. They are made of mdf so if you get a bit of water in them they swell up letting more in. Our tongue and groove would not match up but our fitter went ahead anyway (putting plenty of sealant in) as he had already sent back the first lot because of rough edges. Yes he should of rejected the second batch but was pushed for time because of excessive work load because of lockdown. Over the next 4 weeks the panels leaked with water trickling down the stairs causing the ceiling to collapse. We contacted Eastbrook to come and inspect the panels but they just wanted photos of the damage. We sent them photos of the swelling mdf and they said that they would refund us but only the cost of the panels, not the sealant, fixings, labour or repair of the ceiling etc. It took them 8 weeks to pick up the panels and a further 4 weeks for a refund. We purchased some new panels from another company which you could clearly see the difference in quality, even the edging strips were much better quality. The new panels are made of plywood. We soaked samples of the 2 types of panels in water for 4 weeks to compare the two. Obviously the mdf swelled and the plywood soaked up the water eventually but didn’t change shape at all. If you are looking into bathroom panels please do your research and buy quality, large panels (ours were 60cm) so there are less joins and not tongue and grove. Thankyou for reading.

United Kingdom | 06 December 2020If you want a good, honest, product from a good honest company go anywhere else. The two star rating is very generous. So far I have waited 6 months for a spare part.

United Kingdom | 10 November 2020Purchased five years ago with ten warranty, it turns out roller are not covered, plastic seal seal are not covered, frames are only covered if you provide at your cost an independent report to say the corrosion is because of faulty materials, so means only the glass is covered, had to pay full cost for replacement parts waited three months for delivery and then they do not provide replacement fixings etc

United Kingdom | 15 October 2020quality of their sanitaryware is shocking

United Kingdom | 09 October 2020We have just waited 4 weeks for some bathroom furniture. The reason given for the delay was a problem with colour variations in the furniture. we delayed the work and waited for an update. we received news that the furniture was in at Eastbrook but they needed to quality check the product before releasing it to my supplier. Today we took delivery of furniture after booking two days to complete the bathroom install. After unpacking all the furniture and standing it in place we saw within seconds that there was a huge variation in colour across all the furniture. there was even colour variations within individual units, doors and plinths. who quality checked this, Mr Magoo. we have now lost two days money. Eastbrook will not pay that or will they ??????

Spain | 17 September 2020My shower valve has broken 3 times, first time only after a few weeks, first valve was sent back for inspection Eastbrook claim bad plumbing, second valve lasted just few weeks later was offered for an engineer to come out but only after three weeks, was I not supposed to not shower ? So I changed the valve and now a few months later valve broken again, they have asked me to send the valve back to inspect, so now I’m without a shower. Once they have studied the valve they assure me they will send out support to assess what is wrong but it might not be for a few months, plus they still claim it my plumber ..... well known very successful guy with 32 employees and outstanding reputation .... never will I buy from Eastbrooks again

United Kingdom | 19 December 2019Bad does not go low enough on this rating week before Christmas and wrong tray inside correctly labels packaging reported and would not send replacement overnight had to be there own transport. Tray arrived today and same thing again now they won’t be sending another until 4th January. Disgusting service and would not advise anyone ever to use Eastbrook or there products. Very dissatisfied installer and even more so customer.

United Kingdom | 06 December 2019Not impressed Had to return a wendover towel radiator with rust blemishes, the replacement item wasn’t built square fortunately you couldn’t tell without putting a level on it. Their corniche shower screen doors aren’t supplied with the correct sleeve for the securing bolts and so can work loose ( the bolt holes are the same size on the corniche bath shower screen which have them supplied, though they aren’t mentioned in their instructions) Had a replacement door handle sent out the item was faulty the two handles had been forced onto each other the ends didn’t line up with each other properly, fortunately between the old and new handle I made it work. The protective corners for the glass in the packaging squash the door seals. The plastic trim for the profiles are not as indicated in the instructions. Had to swap a corniche bath shower door over as the wall and shower profile did not fit tightly enough and If the shower door was extended fully as potentially indicated it does not sit that tightly in the profile When I phoned up they seemed to not take into consideration what I was saying without a considerably long conversation. Oh and to top it off the poor client had an East brook shower waste where the securing screw came off of the chrome dome. This has caused me a considerable amount of lost time dealing with these errors and faults, I will now not fit another Eastbrook Product
