United Kingdom | 31 August 2024I recently took my A2 CofC training online with uavhub and the experience was very smooth. The material was well structured and the additional content, outside of the strict examination criteria, was interesting and provided insight into a wider aviation mindset. The course content was well produced and easy to digest. The mock exams made the final assessment a breeze and the assessment was easy to book and attend. The only nitpick I can even think of would be some of the audio levels are quite different where content has been recorded at different times! Overall an excellently executed offering. Thank you!

United Kingdom | 30 August 2024Really great course. I undertook the a2 C of C course. The video tutorials delivered by Matt are really clear and concise. I also undertook a mornings flying with Simon Davis. Really good instruction and came away from the session with a greater knowledge and confidence, with a much better understand of flight characteristics and of the UAV. As well as some really good advice on the drone industry. My only ever so slight gripe is the mock exam questions. If they could be randomised the questions a bit more frequently to give greater exposure to more of the syllabus questions would be really useful. Thoroughly recommend the course.

United Kingdom | 23 August 2024Being able to study at my own pace, without having to travel miles, was always an important factor living in a relatively issolated spot. The delivery of the course was excellent and I would highly recommend it to colleges, family and friends.

United Kingdom | 23 August 2024All good, except the exam platform, when getting ready to take the exam, some of the settings required were sometimes hard to figure out or not very clear.

United Kingdom | 22 August 2024This review is for the A2 C of C. As far as the course materials go, they're fine and no one will have any issue absorbing it all. It's slow going with pacing issues, so I listened to the audio in the background using the double speed to compensate. It's hardly complex material, and it's padded out in some sections. The issue comes with the service, which is non-existent, and then the flat out awful exam experience. Users are forced to use Examity, and they are forced to install the Examity extension. It has a 1.2 out of 5 score on the Chrome download store for a reason: it is horrific. It even comes with the message that "it does not meet the standards for a Chrome plug in" and that it will be pulled from the store soon. If you have a MacBook, don't bother. Read the reviews on the Chrome Webstore. Your mouse won't work and you'll need another machine, but don't take my word for it; read the appalling reviews others have experienced using this platform on the Chome Webstore itself. 1.2 out of 5 scores tend to have quite funny reviews; it's worth your time. Aside from this diabolical state of affairs, the Proctor pretended that he could not hear me. At first run I used a Windows machine with a fresh installation of Chrome, which ordinarily I would never use. I logged in, entered all of the data, had a photo taken of my ID, only for the Proctor to play games and claim he couldn't hear me. I log in and repeat the process, photographing my ID, entering all of the details again. I look at my system settings: no issue whatsoever. A waste of time, as he still claims he can't hear me. I restart the machine and go through the entire process once more, logging in, photographing ID and installing the Examity plug in once more. The Proctor continues with the charade of course, so I tell him I have another machine to do this on so that this fiasco can brought to an end. I log in with a MacBook. Once logged in, repeating the details input and photo ID again, the mouse doesn't work because of the Examity plugin and the Proctor still plays the "I can't hear you" game. I tab across to the chat text input and tell him it's him, not me, and he needs to transfer me immediately to another Proctor. Magically, just like that, the Proctor can hear me. Unfortunately the mouse doesn't work still, so the MacBook is restarted. I log back in, entering details once more, photographing my ID once more and doing the whole process all over again. The mouse still doesn't work because the Examity plugin is absolutely broken. I log back in to the Windows machine, repeat the entire process once more with ID and details and I am now thoroughly hacked off before the exam has even begun. I finally sit the exam. If the Proctor had bothered to check his own audio settings (though he was clearly pretending there was no audio), this whole thing could have been avoided. But he didn't, and he was messing around, wasting my time. You could say "This is Examity, not UAV Hub" but that's where it really hits the skids. On calling UAV Hub directly, a lady answers the phone. She informs me immediately that they are too busy to take phone calls, without even knowing the problem or asking why I want to speak to someone. Finding this immensely offensive from a client perspective I made her stay on the phone and listen to why I was calling. She offers a call back or I can "write an email." I ask for the callback, and instead I get an email from Tom Pattison, Chief Instructor and I quote directly "I'm sorry to hear you weren't happy with your examination process. We're not available on the phone at present but please feel free to explain what you were not happy with in reply to this email." Are you kidding me? What kind of joke company are you? I send back an email, detailing all of this and 2 business days later I still have zero response. This company is a joke, trading on passive video experiences and doing absolutely NOTHING about poor experiences when raised to them. I do not recommend them, their service and attitude is through the floor, communication skills are zero and they're a rock bottom tier company that dare not go to the coal face when called to it. As the company won't address anything to do with this complaint, it will now be published here for everyone to read - that's what happens when you don't deal with things in any manner whatsoever and hope it just goes away. Avoid - an utter waste of time. UPDATE AS OF 14/10/2024 46 days have passed since raising directly with UAV Hub their appalling service. I've had not one reply, no one has reached out to examine the issues, nor even acknowledge their inability to do basic customer service. Proving themselves to be utterly worthless aside from providing a very padded, average, passive learning experience and nothing more, they really should be ashamed of themselves.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2024The training content was very well produced and the presenting style was extremely easy to follow. The ability to revisit completed sections, as well as mock examinations, ensured that I not only passed the course but attained 100%!

United Kingdom | 19 August 2024My Uavhub gvc course was well set out with lots of good reference material.. The uavhub tutorials are very easy to follow at your own pace. The course takes you through all aspects of drone flying and the legalities of drone flight In the UK.. They even assist with an operations manual, which I don't require but a great part of the course.. Great value drone course from uavhub.

United Kingdom | 16 August 2024An excellent course well thought out, if you take your time and in particular do a few mock exams, you’ll be ready to get 100% when you sit the real one!
