Sam is the most lovely person... and her artwork is as beautiful as her soul!! I have some of Sam's artwork which I purchased a couple of years ago in my kitchen and it starts my day with a smile. A monochrome piece, but with a depth of form and a unique style, which I love. I truly hope to purchase more from Sam in the future!

This time last year the worrying signs started to show and a few months later we had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to our beloved 13 year old lab Coco. We rescued her when she was 1 and she was a loyal, much loved, HUGE family member to us, and the perfect "sister" to our only child Thea. Sam's portrait of our Coco has helped heal a very sad family. She sits in 'her' room, our family room, and she's there always, looking at us and smiling with her powerful passionate eyes. She's there for us to say good morning too and she's there for us to say good bye to when we leave our home. Sam has captured the very essence of our Coco; her love, her kindness and her complete personality. Sam, you are super talented and super amazing. Sam painted Oscar for my mum. He’s had an amazing life with her sailing around the world and then cycling around the UK too! He’s been her soulmate for many years and she’d be the first to notice anything that wasn’t ‘him’ in her painting! Sam of course took Oscar on with her usual enthusiasm and finished up with a golden retriever that could ONLY be Oscar! The entire process was professional, friendly and stress-free. After sending some photos of my much loved dog Ringo with a small description of his personality Sam has captured him perfectly in the painting she produced. I am so pleased with the end result. Sam offered advice on background colours and sent a progress email of Ringo to ensure we were happy. Always responding quickly to any emails I sent. Would recommend Samantha whole heartedly. Sam painted our Westipoo Millie as a surprise Xmas gift for my husband last year. He was both surprised and delighted! The process working with Sam was lovely, entirely collaborative and it was really nice to get progress photos of the work before it was finished and to be able to give a little feedback. Sam has recently painted portraits of my 2 dogs Keyser and Lottie, as a gift for a special person's special birthday, and they are fabulous! I could instantly see the dogs very different personalities in the paintings it utterly amazes me that this can be captured so beautifully. The whole process from start to finish was lovely, Sam takes her time to get to know you and your dogs to make sure the portraits are just right. What was also really great was that Sam sent photos of the portraits when almost finished to make sure we were happy with them and she was so welcoming of our feedback. We received as a gift a wonderful painting of our older cocker spaniel Timmy. The painting really is a true likeness to Timmy and we were very very pleased with Sams perfect depiction of him .

I asked Sam to paint our Bassett Hound puppy as a Christmas present for my husband. The whole experience was excellent - Sam was responsive and helpful and full of creativity. The finished painting is beautiful and we love it. Hugely recommend as a special gift or for yourself

I can’t recommend Sam highly enough. We chose Sam to paint our gorgeous Working Cocker Spaniel, Molly. I have to say the whole experience was brilliant. Sam was so generous with the time she spent going back and forth with pictures and getting to know about our little doggy. She genuinely adores dogs and wants to know all about your dogs little quirks. She shared the portrait with us before it was finished to check we were happy & was so easy about changes. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience & the result is just gorgeous, a really fantastic, fun and bold portrait of our very special girl. What better tribute to be able to pay to our wonderful canine family members.

Sam painted a very beloved family dog from a series of old photos as a present for my parents. The painting was fantastic. Really brought our much loved pet to life. Aside from Sam’s great talent for painting dogs and really capturing their spirit, Sam is a total joy to work with. I would recommend her as a fantastic artist and fabulous human being.

Not overly sure how to explain how alike Sams painting is to my beloved Fan, she managed to ‘capture’ her exactly. I commissioned Sam to paint my Dog as a valentines gift for my Husband, he was as made up as I was upon seeing it..... she is a gifted girl that Sam..... a truly gifted and beautiful soul xxxxx

Samantha painted a fabulous painting of our friends dog Timmy. She was a real delight to work with and it felt like a joint project working together to create the right finish. I did put upon Samantha as I didn’t give her a lot of notice to create the painting for me but she came up trumps! I sent over several photos of Timmy and Samantha played about with them, did some rough paintings and sent photos of them over to me and between us we decided which worked best. From the initial contact to collecting the paining it took just over 2 weeks which was great as Samantha had enabled me to be able to give this gift to our friends on time! What a wonderful experience, Samantha appreciates feedback and is so talented with her ability to create an exact likeness that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Samantha and ipaintdogs to anyone!

I asked ipaintdogs to paint Maisie, my mother’s weird-looking Heinz 57, as a gift for her 80th. Not only is the likeness amazing, but also Maisie’s character jumps off the canvas. It makes everyone smile - especially my mother!
