Exceptional Support and Service from Zedra’s Probate Team - As someone fairly new to the industry, the first 18 months have been a steep learning curve. I couldn't have navigated this challenging period without the incredible support from Zedra. They have consistently offered guidance and support, and valuable industry learning opportunities. Zedra's commitment to providing exceptional service extends to my clients, who have unfortunately experienced a bereavement. Their practical support, probate services, and executor assistance have been invaluable in helping families navigate through the most difficult of times. I highly recommend Zedra for their unwavering support and outstanding service and proud to partner with them supporting my clients’ families during the most difficult of times.

I have been delighted throughout my experience with the company. Alison in particular has worked professionally and conscientiously on my behalf despite considerable delays caused by myself, and the peculiar circumstances. Throughout she has been patient and courteous and ultimately delivered. I strongly recommend the company and Alison. 5* review

I've decided to partner with ZEDRA UK Ltd. due to their desirable qualities: The whole estate administration team is helpful, knowledgeable, approachable & friendly. The bereavement team are usually the first contact who reply quickly & compassionately to your enquiry. The facility of a DEDICATED case officer is both effective & efficient. Then there's the support managers who can provide valuable industry updates & guidance. ZEDRA's pricing is very competitive, and offers a generous partner referral fee which is paid within 60 days as standard, a welcome addition for cashflow considerations.

Have been, shocking and disgraceful in dealing with my wife's death in service insurance payout. 1 named person on the will and policy, yet they insisted on speaking to her family and mine to ask for someone to contest this. No payment as yet. Terrible communication. Ibhave logged a serious complaint with my wife's company and have now logged a complaint with the financial ombudsman. She died in 2 weeks from undiagnosed cancer. Her other insurance paid within 10 days, stating no investigation needed. These people just want to avoid a payment on an open and shut case and pestered a bereaved family in the weeks after her death. Utterly disgusting company.

As a professional will and trust adviser, I have used Zedra 4 times for probate on four separate families. Zedra offer a fixed person as point of contact, Holly in our case, they keep you updated on a regular basis, always return calls, do exactly what they say they will when they say they will do it, and are cost effective for the work compared to other firms offering similar services. I now only use Zedra as I can trust them to do the job right first time. The families dealing with grief can then concentrate on processing the loss at this most difficult time.

Over several years I have referred several of my clients to Zedra for probate and estate administration help. Through out the whole process from the initial call with the families to obtaining grant of probate from the probate team the service has always been first class and I have never had any problems. I would highly recommend Zedra to any executor and family member that’s requires help with probate.

I have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Zedra in relation to the management of a family trust. As a beneficiary of the trust, I raised serious concerns about the identity verification process of the primary beneficiary and the handling of the trust’s administration. Unfortunately, Zedra has failed to address my concerns adequately, leaving me with more questions than answers. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Proper Due Diligence: Despite my repeated requests, Zedra has not provided clear information on the identity verification process used when they took over management of the trust. Given the potential for fraud or mismanagement, it is critical that beneficiaries receive transparent answers regarding how Zedra ensures the correct individual is receiving payments. 2. Insufficient Ongoing Verification: I expressed concerns about the ongoing verification process, particularly since the beneficiary reportedly moved abroad and may have passed away. Zedra has relied on emails and phone calls to confirm identity, which I believe is an inadequate method for verifying a beneficiary’s continued eligibility to receive funds. This lax approach raises serious doubts about the integrity of the trust’s administration. 3. Unresponsiveness to Concerns: While Zedra has acknowledged my queries, their responses to my complaint have been vague and incomplete. Requests for clarification about internal policies and the due diligence process have been largely ignored, leaving me feeling as though my concerns have not been taken seriously. 4. Poor Communication: The lack of transparency and slow communication has made this process unnecessarily difficult. As a beneficiary, I should be able to trust the administrators of the estate, but my experience with Zedra has only heightened my concerns about the management of this trust. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with Zedra’s handling of this situation. Their failure to provide clear answers and implement adequate identity verification practices undermines my confidence in their ability to manage the trust effectively and fairly. I would caution others to avoid using this firm. Numerous complaints have been raised for the concerns raised.

Lacked professionalism. Poor communication. Not on top of their brief.

They took over a scam from Barclays which is to type out a will as a paid service, but insert themselves as executor. At the time the person writing the will was shocked, but hoped that just signing a copy of the will would save executors like from having to use the executor service if they did not want to. After death there is a second charge of £360 to release the top copy of the will and renounce executorship "because it's a legal document". Some solicitors and will-writing service may think that this is perfectly OK, but it obviously isn't. It may be perfectly legal, but if obvously shouldn't be. So this is a lucrative scam. As for Zedra's other "services", they look quite interesting and specialised, ranging from tax havens to family trusts but I wouldn't touch any firm that tricks its way into peoples' wills and then charges £360 for removal edit later --------------------------------------------------- I complained to Zedra that their resignation was not on the form that HMRC provides. It was on a wierd document disigned, I suppose, to justify the cost with minutes of of one item meeting and loads of signatures. I was doing a paper request for probate in order to get a reply saying that no probate is needed for spouses. I think that's what firms like pension providers want. I added a copy of an email reply from Zedra, stating that their statement would do instead of the usual form. A month later, Zedra sent a resignation on the usual HMRC executor resignation form, which I have kept in case useful. As for the result of my paper application, nobody yet knows. It takes at least 16 weeks.
